Newegg's PC Builder is a shopping tool first, a builder tool second. It only shows Newegg inventory. Its AI "Build with AI" feature uses ChatGPT to generate recommendations, but pricing, stock, and inventory are Newegg-only — no comparison with Amazon, Best Buy, or anywhere else. The tool exists to drive purchases on Newegg.com.
Logical Increments is a static build guide — not an interactive builder. Its "Grid" recommends parts for budget tiers (Excellent, Outstanding, Exceptional, etc.), updated manually by the team. There's no compatibility engine, no real-time pricing, no personalized recommendations. Good for beginners who want a curated list; limited for anyone building a specific rig.
