💡 How to pick case fans
What to look for:
  • 120mm most common, 140mm moves more air quieter
  • Higher CFM = more airflow, higher dBA = more noise
  • Static pressure fans for radiators, airflow fans for cases
💰 Two intake + one exhaust is a solid baseline for positive pressure

★★★★★Quiet, Bright RGB Fans That Improve Airflow
These CORSAIR iCUE Link LX140 RGB fans are a great upgrade for my PC build. Installation was straightforward, and the dual light loops give a really vibrant RGB effect that looks awesome inside my case — especially when synced with iCUE. They spin quietly even under load, and the PWM control made it easy to balance performance and noise with my other components. Airflow feels noticeably better compared to the stock fans, and they haven’t rattled or buzzed at higher speeds. The included iCUE Link hub simplified cable management, though setting up lighting profiles took a little patience in iCUE if you’re new to the software. Overall, excellent fans for the price and a solid choice if you want performance and style.

★★★★★Performance and quality of life fixes done great by Corsair
Sooooo let’s just start off by saying that these fans are clear night and day difference both visually and performance wise. I’ve always used Corsair fans since I started building computers back in 2010. When I first started fans had 1 molex or 1 3-4 pin pwm cable. Now they have 2 cables 1 pwm and 1 argb. With modern day cases having upwards of 10 to 13 fans that’s 20+ cables you’d have to cable manage along with cables from fan controllers controllers and rgb hubs. My last pc build I had 10 fans an the cables were piling up in the back of the case making it. Hard to manage as well as hard to close the case panel. Que in these amazing. Icue link fans and omg it’s amazing. I went from 26 cables from fans and controllers Al the way Down to 2-4 cables. 2 from the fans and two from the controller. The Daisy chain feature is Great and quick to assemble 2 connector pieces per fan for 240mm set up or 4 pieces for a 360mm fan assembly and they lock the fans together. Great way to Have modular assembly approaches. You have two ports on each side of the hub, each port is cable of running 12 fans At once using 1 cable. Granted if you have 10 fans like I do. I have to use one small cable from one 360 array to the next 360 array then to the hub and connected To the port the other four fan. One from the rear case fan to the 360 on the AIO water cooler then to the controller hub. Now people complain about the Icue software which I don’t understand why. I’ve never had an issue With the software. It is pretty straightforward forward And User friendly. The software picked up and recognized all 10 fans. And was able to set each fan curve individually or in groups of 3 Depend on location of said fans. The Rgb on the fans are fully addressable and are brighter the most other say they are are fully addressable brightness. These people are comparing them to the QX120 fans. Which have 8 more rgb bulbs than the LX120s. Down side is the performance on the QX line is terrible And the airflow and static pressure is not optimized like the LX line. I’m an avid huge gamer. and I play. Most games Full blast on the settings. I have my fans on the AIO set to a static 50% at all time and I idle at 35-40c on my AMD 9800X3D and. I never exceed 50–60c when playing games like cyberpunk, battlefield 6, or arc raiders. Even my RTX 5070 runs considerable cooler. After these fans were installed I went from 60-65c when gaming down to 50-60c. That’s just shows you the sheer quality and performance Of the fans. Now the cons. Two cable lengths provided Some people have complained about. Lengths being too short. For their builds build honestly if you know how to route your cables properly. And place the hub in a central location in your build you won’t have to go to corsairs website to buy additional longer cables. Only con I have is like everyone says is the price per fan is crazy expensive 45$ for one (no hub no cable) or 120-140$ for a set of 3 (comes with hub and two cable lengths). When you have 10 fans like I do that’s over 400$s just for fans In your case. But I believe if you’re building a Gaming PC from scratch you’d have the money to invest in it. 400$ is a small price we pay to have. Better air flow And FAR LESS cable management. The pictures I’ll post here will show you just how much better it’s made the pc look both visually and cable wise. So if your mind is up in the air don’t hesitate on these fans they are amazing in my honest opinion.

★★★★★Quiet, Cool, and Built to Last
I picked up the CORSAIR iCUE Link LX120 RGB fan for my setup and it’s honestly been great. Right out of the box, it feels like a high-quality fan. The build is solid, not flimsy or cheap feeling at all. It’s got that durable, long-lasting kind of vibe, like it's made to handle some serious run time. The RGB is super clean and smooth. It lights up bright, but not too flashy, and with the iCUE software, it’s easy to control the colors and sync it with the rest of your setup. Whether you want a single color or full-on rainbow effects, it all looks great and runs without any hiccups. Performance-wise, it does the job well. It keeps my system cool and stays quiet, even when I’m gaming or running heavier tasks. I’ve noticed a slight drop in temps since installing it, which is always a plus. It moves a good amount of air for a 120mm fan, and I never have to worry about noise—it’s just smooth and consistent. The iCUE Link system is also a big win. Connecting multiple fans with one cable keeps the inside of the case super clean. Less cable mess means better airflow and a way more organized build. Plus, setup is quick and simple. Overall, the LX120 is a solid pick if you want something that performs great, looks awesome, and feels like it’ll last for a long time.

★★★★★King of RGB CFM/Static Pressure
If you do your research, you'll see why these are the best overall fan with rgb you can get for both cfm and static pressure. RGB could be a little better, but highly customizable in the ique app and 3rd party software. Cooling performance for both draw and pushing through radiators is the main reason for my purchase. They are slightly louder than your average fans, but perform 2x better. Cable management is great with how Corsair lets you chain without cables- despite their proprietary ports for the hub. Reliability isn't a question with Corsair. The value per quality is top tier.

★★★★Runs surprisingly smooth and quiet but...
Shocked at how smooth and quiet these run at full speed, however they are very expensive for fans and I don't love the look/style of them. They were very easy to install and the software mostly works (trying to make RGB work between different brands is not easy however, I'm using ASUS, MSI, Corsair, and Lian Li products). They work great and keep my temps between 50-60C so they are great fans, but again very expensive and not the most attractive styling (I prefer the Lian Li TL style but they're always sold out). I've only been using them for barely a month so we'll see how they of up long term. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Four Stars
