💡 How to pick case fans
What to look for:
  • 120mm most common, 140mm moves more air quieter
  • Higher CFM = more airflow, higher dBA = more noise
  • Static pressure fans for radiators, airflow fans for cases
💰 Two intake + one exhaust is a solid baseline for positive pressure

★★★★★Excellent fans, and even better if you catch them on sale
I bought two, which replaced the two stock fans that were included with my case and were set up as exhaust fans. I previously purchased a 3 pack which includes an RGB hub elsewhere, and it was better to buy them separately (on sale, $12.99 each at time of purchase), so I went for that. Functionally and structurally, they're identical to the stock fans included in my 5000D Airflow, the only difference pretty much being the RGB lighting. Software is not the best but it's manageable and easy to use, and the fans just work and look great; can't say many more positive things than that. One potentially negative thing about these fans is that the screw holes don't have threads from the factory. It's probably a common thing among PC fans, but I feel it's still worth noting. If you are going to use the screws to install them, I strongly recommend screwing and threading OUTSIDE your PC case BEFORE installing them. Believe me that things will be significantly better and easier if done this way. Don't make the same mistake that I made the first time. Very solid RGB fans, especially if you can grab them on sale. They've been going for a week now with zero issues. Will try to update if anything comes up.

★★★★★Costly, but worthwhile
Great fan, lots of airflow, quiet, and customizable! Pretty good plastic material and gorgeous in color. Very customizable, has fairly low latency in RGB, so music related RGB effects look great on this fan.

★★★★★Good Value for a High Quality Fan
This fan works flawlessly. I've used it for quite a bit now, and I can tell you this fan is worth it for the price. The fans are pretty quiet despite having all the same fans (except for the top ones in the photo). I honestly was expecting another air conditioner sound level when I'm gaming. But I've tested and maxed out the fan speed, and the noise was really impressive, definitely better than those cheap Lenovo Legion fans I used to have. My old fans don't compare to these Corsair fans. Depending on the chassis you're using, I would also like to point out that these fans are bright . . . with 4 of the same fans installed in my chassis, I don't even need an RGB strip to see my components inside the case. Also very fast shipping too, my new motherboard didn't even come in yet. Just make sure that you have a Corsair fan controller. Other than that, I have no complaints, and I am happy with my purchase.

★★★★★Good fan, but using it with my Corsair Capellix H115i causes some weird quirks.
I'll start off with if you have a Corsair Commander 6 port fan hub (mine came with my aio), it's super easy to install and the RGB does what it's supposed to do! The downside is I hate how the fan controller this plugs into uses a USB 2.0 header on the Mobo instead of the CPU fan header. You wouldn't think it, but it annoys me how the fans ramp up briefly to near max rpm for a couple moments then they slow down again. Some people that have been doing system builds awhile know what I'm talking about and are used to it (I'm not). So the fan works great, but this feedback is still relevant considering most will pair these fans with a fan hub and this is what you're treated to. Corsair tech support said it's expected behavior because of the boot order on motherboards which makes sense. Just an gripe from an annoyed customer but the performance is spot on. Oh and the screws with one of the fans got stripped as I was mounting them. My fault probably.

★★★★★Nice fan although rather expensive
I bought this fan to integrate as an exhaust fan for the Corsair case I used in my build. The case came with 3 iCUE fans and a 6 port iCUE hub so I decided to spend extra to get an iCUE fan. It installed with no issue...coming with the necessary screws to easily connect onto the rear exhaust port of the case. The PWM cable connected easily to the MB as did the RGB cable to the iCUE hub. The iCUE software detected it right away and it integrated with the other 3 fans for the lightshow immediately. It is very quiet and moves a decent amount of air. I'm happy with the fan BUT, unless you specifically need an iCUE fan, you can probably find an equivalent fan for less money.
