Wanted quieter because old fans were too loud to clearly hear details from ambient music.  Excellent design and build quality.  Came with extra full rim anti-vibration gasket for water cooling radiators and cable extensions, which I needed.  Works as advertised.  Purchased two fans.  Low noise, barely perceptible compared to original dual noisy fans that were replaced that came with CPU Hydro cooler radiator.  So quiet compared to old fans was in disbelief and had to double check the system was actually running.  Happy I found these and only wished I had done so sooner!

In Ham radio, you need quiet in the shack (To hear those faint long distance calls on the radio) But you also need power. These amps create a lot of heat and  an external fan was needed. The problem was the fans all created noise, until I found this one. Its large size and output was more then enough to keep the amp area cool, and the fan its-self created no noise that I could hear. I am amazed and will buy these fans for now on. Understand its only been a week, and i will update if something goes wrong. Also note I used only 2 of the 3 wires, taking power directly from my 13.8vdc power supply.  Cheers AE0DC
