I've been building computers for almost 20 years, and for probably 16 of those have used almost exclusively Noctua fans. I got this for a bit of an odd use-case. I'd ordered the NH-D15 G2 for my new build and it came with two of the 140mm versions, but unfortunately the heatsinks on my RAM pushed the front one up to where it interfered with the side panel. I decided to try something novel and ordered one of these, so this is on the front above the RAM leaving *just* enough clearance for the side panel, while one of the 140mm models that came with it stays in the middle between the two "towers". I haven't noticed any odd turbulence sounds or anything else due to the mismatched fans, and it let me keep two fans instead of reverting to one like the D15s would have. The existing brackets worked fine for me because the hole spacing is not truly in the corners, it's more centered on the sides.

I guess you could say I am a fan of Noctua (pun intended). This fan purchase was to add a second fan to my Noctua cooler and force more airflow through the cooling fins. Noctua's run super quiet!  I had the "factory" fans in my case and swapped them all out for Noctuas a while back and the system is so much quieter!  The installation was a breeze.  Used the included clips from the cooler and installed with the included Y-cable.  I am looking forward to getting the Noctua Air Intake Spacer to add one more exhaust fan out the top.  The spacer will enable the fan to sit a few more mm away from the screen, so it remains quiet.

My case with the paired ram i got caused a height conflict with one of the two 140mm fans that came with my NH-D15, so i got this as a replacement fort the fan over the ram, and its fits and functions perfectly. Its an ugly color combo for my pc; but Its a quality fan that gets the job done, and the extras that come in the box are a plus. (note you will need to supply your own wire clips if your cooler tower did not come with any the NH-D15 came with two but others may not)
