💡 How to pick case fans
What to look for:
  • 120mm most common, 140mm moves more air quieter
  • Higher CFM = more airflow, higher dBA = more noise
  • Static pressure fans for radiators, airflow fans for cases
💰 Two intake + one exhaust is a solid baseline for positive pressure

★★★★★Gold Standard of PC Fans
All Noctua fans are great but the ones with anti-shock absorbers are by far the best. I use Noctua CPU fans for the past 7 years without fault or needing to replace them. Even though these fans can run double the price compared to competitors, they are the gold standard as they use a special bearing system and also are made with fibre-glass reinforced polyamide for both the industrial models and consumer models. Compared to Rosewill 140mm 1500RPM fans, the Noctua 2000RPM 140mm fan is not as loud as those, actually I am surprised by how quiet this new fan runs being a high CFM industrial model. This Industrial Noctua fan is also dust and water-proof. Top notch fans, thank you Noctua for developing a fantastic product once again. I would recommend this product 100%.

★★★★★Great product
Replaced old fan from PC, this fan is quieter and gives more air flows that you can feel.

★★★★★They are not quite at 2000rpm but i accepted that and am quite happy with the cooling performance
Noctua. I slapped them on my corsiar H110 and max temps dropped 5c. They are not quite at 2000rpm but i accepted that and am quite happy with the cooling performance. Obviously this fan is for people looking for performance over DB. Few notes, they dont run under 45%. In fact i leave mine at 50% as a minimum. There are quieter fans out there even the poo colored noctuas will run way quieter. I wanted a fan that could move a lot of air if needed and these do the trick.

★★★★Excellent performance. However
Excellent performance. However, at 2000 rpm this fan is pretty loud (as the case with any 2000 rpm fans). Noise wise compared to the mainstream version, the fan performs about the same so if you have the money for the retail version, you might as well put in a few more bucks to get this. Note: this fan does not work with any of the low noise adapter from noctua. EDIT: these fans have a weird buzzing sound from the motor. Quite noticeable the closer the fan is to your ear. Might be a problem if you want a complete silence build. Confirmed with Noctua customer support that this is part of the design of the fan.
