💡 How to pick case fans
What to look for:
  • 120mm most common, 140mm moves more air quieter
  • Higher CFM = more airflow, higher dBA = more noise
  • Static pressure fans for radiators, airflow fans for cases
💰 Two intake + one exhaust is a solid baseline for positive pressure

★★★★★Great Slim fan
I Used this on my Lian Li 185M case as a front intake fits in front of the panel and cooled an M-ATX 7600k perfectly. with out it the case was warm to the touch. Now it serves as an auxiliary fan for the CPU cooler in a different case. Fan moves good amount of air and quite and the fans can be daisy chained. Good purchase

★★★★★Slim spin
They are slim and work. I added some fans on top of my push/pull rad config as these are not super strong, but I’m fully satisfied with these. I wasn’t super nice to them and they didn’t break like others have reported.

★★★★★Excellent
I'm not sure anyone else makes a slim 140mm fan, but these are great. I have 5 or 6 of the full size ones in my server and they've been perfect and quiet for the last year, so when I saw the brand again, I figured they'd be good, and they are. Super quiet and move a lot of air, quality hefty feel to them. I used these specifically for my Fractal Ridge PC case to fit a thicker GPU and not have things rubbing together. My build being a small form factor, it's also great that they have a daisy chain plug, so I only needed one fan header. My only nitpick about these fans is that if you are mounting the front of the blade side of the fan against a case, at low speeds the blade wobbles slightly and will rub the case. Higher speed it doesn't do this. I bought a pack of cheap rubber washers to put between the fan and case to move it a few millimeters away from the case mounting points and it resolved the issue.

★★★★Works fine but cheap quality
I usually only use Noctua, Phantek, or BeQuiet fans but for my most recent SFF build I needed slim 140mm fans and none of the aforementioned brands make one. Only other 140 slim fan out there is from Silverstone but I've had good experiences with arctic in the past so I went with that. Here are my thoughts: Overall if you absolutely need slim fans then these do work fine and they are fairly silent, however they are very cheap in quality IMO. Unlike Noctua and Silverstone slim fans which have thicker housing and rubber gaskets, these Arctic slims are just a thin plastic frame around the blades. They also have a bit of blade lift so when my fans turned on the blades started hitting the case even though I checked the clearance during install. I ended up having to 3D print fan spacers to prevent the blades from hitting. Outside of that the fans are pretty silent. Overall if you want the best of the best thats out there I would probably check out the Silverstones first or hope that Noctua gets their head out of their behinds and makes a slim 140mm. Otherwise these are fine in the interim.

★★★★★Exactly what I needed
I use the Arctic Freezer 280 in a nzxt h7, and it didn't fit up top due to the motherboard heatsink and colum in the case. Using these, it fits perfectly with some room to spare, and performance wasn't really all that affected with my oc'd 13700k. Temps maybe changed 1-2c, maybe? But nothing to worry about. They're also very quiet, even running at max speed. Fwiw, I also received the fan blades that are connected at the ends, they feel pretty durable and I haven't experienced any of the issues mentioned in other reviews. I'll update if I do, but in the meantime, I would recommend them if you need to fit a radiator in a tight area.
