I got this to build a brand new Proxmox system for my home lab since the old system is running on hardware from 2014. It's a great case and I think the cooling is adequate. Routing cables inside of it can be a bit of a pain though. I put two 3.5" HDs in the HD cage (for backups) and it was a bit difficult getting the SATA cables plugged in. Otherwise, no complaints really. I really like the LED lighting on the front of the case. It currently pulses an orange color because I haven't tried to change it, but I actually like it.

I bought this case for a new Ryzen 7 7800X3D build. The mother board fits tight and hint, if the standoff to hole alignment is off check to see if the plate on rear ports (the ones you access from rear of case) can be loosened and pushed back a hair as on mine a hair (<1/16") was what I needed. Plenty of room for cables and extra drives. I put it up there with my current Phanteks Eclipse P400A only with a more stylish front grille. I don't care about RGB lighting but I must admit I kind of like the look of this Bequiet! 501 DX. The build quality matches my Phantek and access, especially to the corner near the rear case ports for the screw and cables is a plus. Cable management is OK as there is only so much one can do. I recommend not nylon ties but Velcro brand reuseable cable ties. The glass side cover appears to be real glass so that's a plus too. To me a case is a case and should be a minor part of the overall build expense. Given the price of RAM and GPUs, this case is.

Buying PC parts online can be hard. This is a solid choice for a PC case. It is on the larger size but I liked the fact I was able to decorate a bit within the case and the cable management was nice. Very easy setup. I bought two extra fans of the same make and model. I really enjoy how quiet the build is. RGB is really good too. I appreciate the easy controls for the RGB in the front panel. Overall I recommend it. Just take its large size into consideration. I had an issue with Amazon delivery and a corner had been bent on my PC case. Amazon immediately helped me with my situation.
