★★★★★Top notch product and Even better customer service!
This case is awesome. I can fit a bunch of optical and hard drives that are accessible from the front! Lots of room and even fits a 5090 after moving some drive bays around.
The real gem here is the customer service. It's outstanding.
I have an older MoBo that has a 20-pin split loose control panel connectors (power, reset, HD light, etc) this case comes with a new style combined 8-pin solid connector. It would not fit... Devastating.
You know that disappointment when you get something new and it doesn't work out of the box? I had this sad feeling. I figured I was going to have to source some random adapter that may or may not be the right one. It was a dark time for me and this magnificent tall steel tower.
From the darkness came the light that is Rosewill customer service. They looked at my sadness and said "Hold my beer kid, we're going to send you out the correct adapter, today, for free". I lifted my head and a tear slowly formed and ran down my cheek. I handed them back their well earned beer and, smiled, and said in a whisper, thank you.
Sure enough the cable arrived shortly after and I could power on and reset my system.
Much respect and will be a loyal customer.

★★★★★Choice for NAS Home server with more room in Storage cage Motherboard e-ATX
Pro:- Drive Interface SAS & SATA fits. Verify if Hot-Swap support works with SAS drive. Information for SDD-HDD attach in bay: Download manual of ‘Rosewill RSV-SATA-Cage-34 Internal SATA/SAS Hot-Swap Cage’. Strong Metal body. Front USB-C port cable doesn’t find port in my e-ATX motherboard of Gigabyte MU92-TU1 so I may buy PCIe expansion card that has a USB Type E and 19 pin interface.
Con:- Cage does not support SAS 12Gb/s. Very less space behind cage to attach cable of SATA and 4 pin Molex power cable if one uses motherboard form factor of e-ATX. Removed fan to make room behind cage since I used e-ATX.

★★★★★Uses IDE/Molex 4-pin power. Buy adapters.
Great case, fit my full-size ATX (ASUS Z890-P) board like a glove.
Not worth taking off a star but for whatever reason Rosewill designed power for their hot-swap bays with the old-style IDE(4-pin molex) connectors. Unless your power supply is old school, you'll want male-sata -> female molex power adapters.

★★★★★Decent large case with SAS/SATA 6G drive cages, some adjustment required
This case is OK for the purpose, but can't reach a 5-star review given its issues:
- alignment and tolerances of slots for openings for things like the case sides are off by enough to cause issue when replacing the screws,
- alignment of one side of the drive bay area with respect to the other are off enough to cause problems in 3rd party equipment,
- the top of the case and the top of the motherboard section are too close to properly install and place a 240 or 360 water cooling radiator, since the motherboard will collide with the attached fans--meaning I had to install the fans outside of the case at the top (there are no other suitable locations), obtain extension cords for the PWM fans, and widen an unused slot for attaching a fan/cooler to feed the cable extension into the case to attach back to the water cooler controls. Given the case layout, moving the motherboard down 3-4 cm would solve the problem.
Next there is the issue that in a current day NAS case, SAS drive cages should be 12G speed, not limited to 6G speed, which meant I had to replace the Thor NAS Pro native SAS/SATA drive cages with ones that were 12G SAS capable.
If I had known the drive cages were this level, I would have not bought the Thor NAS Pro, but just the Thor NAS and used the difference in cost to buy the needed 12G SAS drive cages.
The main reason I bought this case was the available capability to have external facing drive bays, something many current trend cases no longer provide, neither for optical drives nor for drive cages and hot-swap hardware.
I would not buy this specific model of case again, but the Thor NAS version and supply my own drive cages.
Other issues in alignment and openings are rectifiable with tools and some sweat equity.

★★★★★Poor machining, lots of plastic, but works well enough
There are very few cases like this one and it does the job well enough. Lots of space to get a server board put in (I used an ASRock Rack board). Putting everything together was easy enough. The fans are silent enough that I didn't even bother replacing them. Heat has never been an issue even during burn-in testing. This isn't in a dusty area (it's in the basement where nobody is most of the time) so I don't know how well the dust filters will work over time.
Some stuff I didn't like: every screw goes in like it's cross threaded. All the drive trays are plastic, but to be fair, they are pretty solid. I've pulled drives in and out while building and testing this thing and they go in and out very smoothly. Just felt like a lot of plastic for such an expensive case. I would have preferred a metal chassis like I have in an old external drive array. The 3.5" drives just slide and latch in, no tray needed.
Also, to power the drives adequately, esp. with enterprise drives, you'll likely need at least two separate power cables from the PSU. I had to get SATA to Molex adapters in order to connect all four ports.
It's hard as heck to get the SATA cables connected to the backplane. I had to take the fans off to get everything connected. The SATA connectors felt flimsy too. They aren't mounted very sturdily.
Overall, despite these issues, I'm happy enough w/ this case and would recommend it to anyone looking to do a custom 8-bay NAS / home server like I did.
