This is a really good CPU cooler for the price. The Thermalright Assassin X 120R feels solid and well-built right out of the box, and the materials don’t feel cheap at all. Installation was straightforward, and it fits nicely without much hassle. The cooling performance is impressive for a budget-friendly option, it keeps temperatures under control even under load. The fan is fairly quiet, even at higher speeds, which is a nice bonus. I also like the ARGB lighting and the small digital display, which adds a clean, modern look to the build without being over the top. Overall, it’s a great value cooler that delivers solid performance, good build quality, and nice aesthetics. Definitely worth considering if you want reliable cooling without spending too much.

Excellent cooler and incredibly inexpensive for the level of performance! Used on an AMD 5600 and it works great. Very easy to install and results in reasonable temperatures and quiet fans. The temperature displayed on the LCD is a very nice touch at this price point. The software is a bit difficult to find on the website, but was an easy install. Highly recommended!

It does the job and looks good. For only $20 it was not as cheap feeling or looking as expected. I was very surprised. Very quiet at 40% (using fan control) and keeps temp around 30c at idle (stock cooler at idle was 45c). I am running a ryzen 5 5600XT 65w cpu. When boosting the cpu can pull 95w. Even keeping the fan at 40% my temps are around 50c at 100% load. Keep in mind that I have 5 intake and 3 exhaust case fans, so tons of airflow around it. I would recommend. Setup was straight forward. It used the stock AM4 backplate so there was no need to pull the motherboard. On initial setup the display just stayed static on the temp it read during startup. I had to go into the program and set it to one of the cores to have a real-time readout displayed. The fan is argb so of course that was just connected to my hub so it worked with signal rgb. The display was not picked up by signal rgb but is customizable through the downloaded software.

One of the best products I have ever installed into my computer before when I built computer, it would run hot and at one point even killed one of the graphics drivers ever since I installed this product it has worked wonders. I will say it is definitely worth the money. The insulation for me was really easy and it operated pretty quietly but very effective. The lighting works great and it looks really good.

I absolutely lover thermalright products and this does work well BUT I dont think it cools as well as most of the thermalright brand. As soon as I play a game it jumps up to °50c. Now I know I can mess with bios settings but the thermalright i had in there beofore cooled better. I guess you have to sacrifice cooling for being cool. Only dropped it one star cause it does work and its very cool.
