What to look for:
  • TDP rating must exceed your CPU's TDP
  • Socket compatibility (AM5, LGA1851, etc.)
  • Fits within your case's cooler height limit
💰 Air coolers are reliable and quiet. AIO liquid coolers handle high-TDP CPUs best

★★★★Screen DOA
I have pretty mixed feelings about this cooler because the actual cooling performance has been excellent, but the experience getting everything fully working was much more frustrating than it should have been. The biggest issue is that the LCD screen was completely dead right out of the box. Unfortunately, the screen was one of the main reasons I specifically purchased this version instead of a standard AIO cooler, so opening everything up, installing it, and realizing the display wouldn’t turn on at all was incredibly disappointing. The pump itself worked, the fans spun normally, and cooling performance was fine, but the LCD module was totally DOA. To CORSAIR’s credit, their customer service was ultimately good to work with, but the process felt far more drawn out and complicated than necessary. Initially, they wanted me to remove the entire cooler from my system and mail the whole thing back. That would have meant removing the radiator, fans, thermal paste, and basically tearing apart a freshly completed build over what was clearly just a failed LCD module. After some back and forth, I explained that the screen itself is removable and that CORSAIR literally sells the LCD module separately as its own standalone product. Once they understood that, they finally agreed to just send me a replacement screen instead of requiring me to return the entire unit. That was definitely the correct solution, but it took longer than I expected to get there. There was also a bit of frustration regarding shipping costs. At first they wanted me to pay for postage, which honestly didn’t sit well considering the part arrived defective from day one. Thankfully, after additional communication, they eventually provided a prepaid shipping label and handled it properly. Again, they made it right in the end, but the overall process could have been much smoother. Now for the actual cooler itself, because outside of the LCD issue, it has honestly been fantastic. Cooling performance has been excellent on my system. Temperatures stay low even under heavy gaming and productivity workloads, and the pump and fans are impressively quiet. I was expecting a 360mm cooler to perform well, but I’ve still been pleasantly surprised with how efficiently this thing handles heat while remaining relatively silent. Installation itself was also pretty straightforward. The mounting hardware felt solid, the pre-applied thermal paste made setup easier, and the daisy-chained fan connections helped reduce cable clutter significantly. Once installed, it gives the system a really clean look overall. After receiving the replacement screen, the LCD functionality has worked perfectly. The display is vibrant, sharp, and very customizable through iCUE software. I really enjoy being able to display CPU temperatures, GIFs, and custom images directly on the pump head. It adds a lot of personality to the build and honestly looks great once everything is functioning properly. The software customization is fairly easy as well. I had no trouble setting up screen layouts, animations, and monitoring information. The display quality itself exceeded my expectations once I finally got a working module. Overall, this cooler performs extremely well and looks fantastic when fully functional. The only reason this experience was frustrating was because the LCD screen arrived dead and the RMA process took longer than necessary. Still, CORSAIR did eventually make things right, and since getting the replacement screen installed, the cooler has been reliable and issue-free.
