💡 How to pick a CPU cooler
What to look for:
  • TDP rating must exceed your CPU's TDP
  • Socket compatibility (AM5, LGA1851, etc.)
  • Fits within your case's cooler height limit
💰 Air coolers are reliable and quiet. AIO liquid coolers handle high-TDP CPUs best

★★★★★I own it and I like it. I listed out the things I didn't love should give you a good picture.
Enermax, don't start raising the price, but this is good. I'm one of those super pc enthusiasts. As I sit here I wait for a 5090 and have a 4090. It's my main hobby and passion. Everyone always talks about how great artic is, but I like this cooler better. The vrm fan is good, and it's just as large as the artic and can be refilled. It even comes with extra fluid. This is one I'll keep for a while. It has all the mounting hardware. I have the termltake w100 that you build yourself with the lower bay. Great case by the way all metal lots of options very customizable if you have the space. As big as this cooler is it looks small in my case, but that won't be the case for everyone. So make sure you can fit it. That's not a manufacture problem. You buy this because you want great temps and don't want to hear about it and have the space. It's also think. Again a good thing if you have the space. I swapped this with an old 280 nzxt i had and it's much quieter. Amd runs a bit hot as compare to intel at idle, and i like to keep my temps lower this one can do it. I have great airflow 4 240's pushing from the bottom, these three from the top on this 420 aio, and then i have four more on the side. Just a bunch of fan's i've collected over the years, that i spin slow with a lot of attention to air flow tuning. You'll get great results with this cooler and it's well made. My "complaints" The hoses don't articulate at all so it makes it a little harder to fit it just how i like. Some of the other ones do. The other gripe is while the fans it comes with our nice they aren't entirely standard. I generally prefer completely standard stuff. Other 's may not care, but I do. It makes it easy in a few years to swap a fan or two w/o having to rethink things. I didn't care as much as some might because I often just pick up noctua fans sooner or later anyway when they go on sale. I find noctua fans just tend to be the most consistent performers and these days they don't come at as much of a premium. The mounting hardware doesn't have an adjustment or articulation. Normally most do. This one mounts from one directions. I like my tubes to come in at a certain direction to keep things tidy and put less stress on them. Not only does the hardware not articulate as i said the cables don't so you have a touch less flexibility. If you are looking for an aio look no further. I've tried many nzxt, and artic both I like this one better. Other's are often over priced. Getting this for sub 100 is also an important consideration. too much inflation in pc parts. You don't need to spend 250 to get a good cooler in this form factor. I can assure you at least my unit is just fine. Temps are great. Easy to install and no issue. THe vrm fan is effective and quiet because it's relatively large as compared to some of the others. ALso the mounting hardware isn't too gimicky.

★★★★★The best you can do without custom water loops!
ITs everything a certain other thick-radiator AIO maker is, minus being forced to use a specific contact frame when you already have one installed nice and fine. Anyway - I don't know what some others are talking about - the hoses are more than long enough for from mount in a big case - and you can just plug the power for the pump in and be done with it. Of course if you want to control the light on the small fan, you just nee to plug one other line into an RGB slot. Anyway, Much better than the 280 I was using before - this 14900K of course needed better and now it has it. I am doing push-pull, with great fans (you can see them in the images) and with phase change TIM (Honeywell PTM 7950 pad) - so your mileage may vary on how great this is, as clearly I am maxing it out (well, I am not using liquid metal right direction on the cores, of course lol). If you want better, you want custom loop, and then you need at least $400 for it - worth it if you ask me, but money is tight right now, and this solution gets you a great amount of the way there.

★★★★Short fan cables but awesome performance.
I'm using this on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X which it keeps cool at around 90c during max load (multi-core.) It doesn't throttle down from 5.4GHz while keeping the noise levels pretty low. The fans are very silent below 60% speed and still quiet up to around 80%. Lighting on the fans is a bit dimmer than my other components but they are diffused very nicely. Installation was straightforward aside from the ARGB cabling but the cables that daisy chain each fan together could be longer. The cable of the fan towards the rear of my PC case had to be pulled quite a bit to connect to the center one. Also, the tubes come out from the left or right side of the pump and didn't interfere with my motherboard's heat spreaders.

★★★★★Highly Recommended, cools up-to 350-400w.
38mm thick 360mm radiator AIO for <75$ that includes coolant and thermal paste, it's an absolute steal of a deal. I never used the stock fans and replaced them with 6 Hyte 120mm THICC FP12 fans, and I am able to cool my 14900k up to 400w. Been using this cooler for a year, and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone that has the space.

★★★★★This one is the best 420mm AIO...IMO.
Really well built, I did remove the fans and installed Artic P14 Max 140mm fans. The artic fans produce 110/cfm of air and 5.2 mm H2O. While the fans on the cooler produce 79cfm and 2.71 mm H2O. Do the math, artic fan is far superior to the fans that come with the cooler. I had the Corsair Titan 420mm AIO. Really glad I replaced with this one. With the Corsair AIO, I was seeing temps in the low to mid 80c during various benchmarks. I benchmarked the new AIO and when I say I was amazed, I am not kidding, GPU maxed @100% and boosting to 3.2-3.3MHz, I saw temps got to 55-59c. But hey, to each his own.
