💡 How to pick a CPU cooler
What to look for:
  • TDP rating must exceed your CPU's TDP
  • Socket compatibility (AM5, LGA1851, etc.)
  • Fits within your case's cooler height limit
💰 Air coolers are reliable and quiet. AIO liquid coolers handle high-TDP CPUs best

★★★★★Dual tower cpu cooler, up to 270w TDP for $30 and looks great!
Works great, super affordable and keeps my ryzen 7 9700x super cool. Probably overkill to be honest. For roughly $30 for a dual tower with 2000rpm high quality fans, its an excellent buy for warmer cpus. And its not too terribly tall so it'll fit cases up to around 7.5" deep. Highly recommend. If this wont cut it, than you obviously need an AIO. But that's much more and its more risky with leaks unless absolutely necessary for 200w plus cpu.

★★★★★best price-reasonable cpu cooler
Very good cooling for the price. Fans are not so noisy under normal load. I attached another fan at the back of the second plate. It makes the cpu even cooler at lower rpms. best bang for the buck when it comes to cpu cooling. For $25, this cannot be beat.

★★★★★I dig it.
Slight background: I'm working with a Ryzen 5 5600x, no overclocking, and I had been using the stock cooler for about three years with no thermal paste reapplication. After a few hours of running Expedition 33 following a GPU upgrade, I decided to check my hardware temps, mostly to see how the GPU was doing. The GPU was fine, my CPU was a different story. 90°C give or take a few degrees, and that struck me as concerning. I knew I had a problem the next day when I studied the temps while idling and the CPU went up to 70°C. To cut to the point, I bought and installed this cooler. Temps under heavy gaming load stuck to the 40-50 degree strange, down from literally 90°C. Idle temperatures rarely exceed 35°C, a temp below the average idle temp for the CPU. This is a phenomenal CPU cooler for the price. I am very pleased.

★★★★Cheap and easy install. Good weight
Easy install, didn't know came with temp grease. Funny when try take of the plastic foe their logo on top the all of it came off. Glue didn't adhere to the plastic fans. Runs good. Now will see how long it will last. Lastly seems to be like steel bottom, should be copper.
