I put this on the PC that I use specifically for my AtGames Legends Pinball to play in OTG. My PC is an older 1150 Z97 motherboard with an Intel chip. This came with all sorts of mounting plate options so I figure everything is covered with the kit. This needed the backplate behind the motherboard, 4 standoff, 2 rails, and the 4 screws to mount, then the cooler bolds on top with 2 spring loaded screws for tension. The radiator mounted with 8 screws tho 4 seemed to be fine for a top mount. The 2 fans were already bolted into place. Honestly it's super quiet, I can't hear a thing, no pump noise at all and doesnt seem to be any louder or quieter than the Cooler Master Hyper 212 I had on it. The screen is pretty sweet, once you get the software and know how to work it it's a breeze to pick the settings and colors of the display. It will show pics if you want or gifs. I learned how to make a video of 7 gifs patched together into 1 long gif and put ir on there. Everything was crisp and top notch, excellent price as well since this wasn't something I actually NEEDED at all, my Hyper 212 was just fine, this was more eye candy and without breaking the bank. The one thing people need to post about so you dont have to worry or buy any, is that this DOES come with the Thermal Paste. That was something I worried about as didn't want to have to run to the store to grab any and there are other similar kits on here that don't say whether they do or not. I kept trying to search the term thermal paste to see if people had it and just never found it. So this kit comes with thermal paste but it may be my only gripe is the quality. I put a full on 9 dot pattern on my cpu and the paste quality seems pretty dry and thick glue type, not a more liquid glue texture if that makes sense. So it may not be the best thermal paste and may dry out faster I'm not sure. I ended up pulling the cooler off a few days later and added an extra beed to the middle as it seemed like it didn't spread well.

I've had my 240mm cooler for ten days now and with my current CPU (i7-8700) it cools perfectly. The fans are very quiet IMO and the LCD screen is highly customizable. Not only can you upload any pic or gif that you want, there are a ton of selections that you can chose from and they look stellar. I'm not aware of anything at this price point that can compete. It isn't even close. Installation is easy, in fact it is the first water cooler that I have installed myself. It does come with everything that you'll need, including thermal paste (although I bought a different brand not knowing it came with some). If you're on the fence then just buy it. In fact you can go online, look at reviews, and you'll see this cooler tests extremely well among all of the higher priced competitors. I ended up buying an aRGB hub because my MB only has one aRGB connection, and now they're all in sync with my Steam games via ASUS aura creator. The cooler fans are connected with the box of 5 aRGB case fans from Thermalright as well and they all perform flawlessly. The only thing that folks may count as a detractor is the fact that you must load the TRCC image/gif each time you log on to your computer ...but there are so many options, try a new one each time!

High quality AIO that seems to be very underpriced. Silent fans and temps on 7800x3d when gaming never get past 60c. Even with all cores running at around 80% usage on BF6 temps still never get past 60c. High quality gif screen is a huge plus even though the software takes some time to figure out. Highly recommend !

Works great so far. My case is a tad too small and I had to swap out my rgb ram for non-rgb ram. This was to allow for clearance. If it comes to using my rgb ram I will need to get a bigger case. I am talking about a millimeter of space. With the large ram I would not have been able to use all the screws since the radiator sat higher than the case screw holes would allow. The radiator may or may not be the standard thickness but the fans are like all my other 120 mm fans. Also, note the images in the product descriptions of this product are correct. Only 2 fans and not 3 as stated in the product description. Another note. If after you install the software and the display does not work a reboot does seem to remedy the issue. Quiet ARgb works with aura. Usb is at a 45 degree angle. Would be better with a 90 degree to a 45 just to lower the usb cable. LCD plays videos great. Sound would be an awesome upgrade. 😀 Update: The LCD does work great. Only thing I have noticed which could be a deal killer for me since this is one of the main reasons I purchased it. The LCD customization works at first but goes back to default after a while. The custom image goes away and the localization converts back to non US datetime. I have contacted Thermalright to see if there is a resolution. I will update this review based on the support I get. I am hopeful. Update on update: I emailed customer support about my problem. While I waited I tried something I had not done yet. That was to save my profile. It lasted. I did receive an email the next night from customer support. They confirmed it. So far great customer support. Now to get a bigger case. :)

Thermalright FROZEN WARFRAME 240 Black ARGB: I gave this 3 stars. Generally I am overall happy with the performance of this cooler. I have not had any issues with temps. Generally sitting at mid 50s to 60s when under a load. I am running a 9600x so temps really should not be an issue. As far as quality it looks good and feels good. The fans are not loud. RGB looks bright and good. The display is pretty cool once you understand how to work it. Thats probably my biggest gripe and why I deduct TWO star. You will have to download the display operating program. It's a little finicky. Also you cannot control the fans RGB through this program. You will need to download something separately. The fans ARGB also have a tendency to cut off and need to be rebooted. Its definitely a get what you pay for deal. I bought this because I wanted a little ARGB to light up my computer and not over pay for an AIO cooler. With the price sitting around $60 US it was worth the purchase just for the cooling factor for my CPU. Definitely a good first time AIO for me.
