It is a used/refurbished unit! When I got it it looked brand new, had all the cables you need. It came in a generic brown box but was packed pretty good. I put it in my dell 3630 and it went in no problem and works super well! It dropped my temps by 5-10°c! I was skeptical at first since I have had good luck with used/refurbished but I would highly recommend this to anyone!

This did not come in the original box and was missing screws and no instruction manual for installation. I had the appropriate stuff from other corsair coolers I have installed on other pc's, just letting you know there is no expectation of stuff you order to be new in original box with all the parts/instructions. The cooler was stuffed in a cardboard box with paper wadding to protect the cooler during shipping but there is probably no way to return it if I have problems with it since it was not in the original packaging.

Very easy to install and works literally with two connections. Heads up: RGB requires seperate connections. Recommend buying an RGB splitter with SATA power if you don’t have a motherboard with a RGB out. Comes with adapters for the RGB and fan and cooler power. All these comments saying “lack of instructions” or “it was just thrown in a box” don’t do the product justice. Came in a box that had good protection of the component, and it’s as simple as screwing it to your motherboard, and then the radiator and fan together to the case. Really not that hard.

Can confirm it fits in an Alienware R12 case, with a push/pull fan setup with the original fan. Tip: Plug the included splitter into the CPU_FAN jumper, bottom left of the LGA1200 socket, and plug the original top fan and new radiator fan into this, this prevent the BIOs error. Gave me a huge boost in my Passmark scores. The refurbed unit looked like new, hoses were perfect, and the thermal paste was brand new.
