Extremely good cpu cooler for a very affordable price. Needed something to keep my rig going as I sent my Aio cooler in for a warranty exchange. Worked well on my Intel i9 for normal operation but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything above an i5. The i7’s and i9’s get pretty hot and will throttle down without proper cooling. But again, it kept me going for a couple of weeks while my Aio replacement process took place.

*Be sure to check and ensure this Cooler will fit your Motherboard socket type. For me, this fit LGA 1150. Installation may be moderately difficult for Novices, as this requires removal of the Motherboard in order to attach the bracket required to mount the cooler to. Most already know this before ordering this product, but I felt I should mention that in the event a PC newbie comes along. Overall the Cooler functions exactly to the specifications of Cooler Master. I have been satisfied with my purchase, as there has been a noticeable difference in my CPU's temps. Cooler Master also included some thermal paste as well, meaning this can be installed the moment it arrives at your doorstep.

Was confused at first but once I realized that this is an updated version with less parts it all made sense. Super easy to install. Make sure you find YouTube videos made within the last year or so because the old version installed differently. Was able to replace the terrible AIO that ibuypower uses which ended up breaking. Didn’t need the included bracket as my motherboard already lined up perfectly. The included thermal paste is junk though. I mean it’ll work but it doesn’t come out smoothly and made it more difficult than it should have been to apply. I would use a different brand if you have it. I might remove and replace So far so good. If anything stops working I’ll update.

Great for budget cooling. Not recommended for anything above an i7, or for overclocking. I run it in a backup PC I used for local LAN hosting and small private servers. No issues there. Easy to install.
