💡 How to pick a CPU cooler
What to look for:
  • TDP rating must exceed your CPU's TDP
  • Socket compatibility (AM5, LGA1851, etc.)
  • Fits within your case's cooler height limit
💰 Air coolers are reliable and quiet. AIO liquid coolers handle high-TDP CPUs best

★★★★★Great for ever-so-slightly too small cases
Worked absolutely perfectly to improve cooling in my HP Omen 30L prebuilt case. Significantly better than the AMD box cooler. I was pushing thermal throttle at idle with the stock AMD cooler (thanks in part to the poor cooling factor of the HP case) even after multiple repastes and inspections. This brought temps right down to where they should be. Not too loud, no flashy RGB. Just a sleek little cooler. Brackets were easy to install with two screws. Make sure you measure though. It's small for a heat pipe cooler, but it's not micro. Measure from your CPU IHS to the side panel to be sure.

★★★★★A good quality capable compact cooler!
I bought this cooler for my somewhat compact entertainment center computer. It fits well in the bookshelf case and does a good job of keeping a Win11 machine doing DVD playback, streaming and video conferencing cool.

★★★★★Silent and effective
Keeps my CPU cooler than the factory fan without all the need for liquid setups. It's also very quiet

★★★★★Gets the job done
Cooler Master Hyper 411 Nano: Needed something that would fit into a smaller case and cool an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X better than the Wraith Stealth I was using. Decided to give this cooler a try and after a very easy, straightforward installation I started is up. The heat sink worked better than I expected as it kept the CPU at 38C or under while at idle with the fan at 1200 RPM. Under load it rose to 58C and stayed there with the fan at about 2000 RPM. Decided to test it out with the PBO set on and at maximum load it went to 79C with the fan maxed out at 2500 RPM. At the setting I used the CPU was drawing in excess of 110 Watts and this is out of the range of my intended use. I specifically looked for a CPU that used less power and thus created less heat. But just for testing purposes the Hyper 411 Nano was able to keep the CPU within safe thermal limits. As it is, the heat sink worked better than AMD wraith by about 10C and is significantly quieter. Recommended for small form factor setups with lower power consumption.

★★★★★Purchased to Verify Parts Compatibility
I purchased the Hyper 411 Nano to verify the compatibility of its components with the Hyper 411R that | bought a few years ago. My main finding is that the fan from the Nano fits the 411R perfectly, as both are 92mm models. The key differences are that the Hyper 411R includes a white LED light (which I didn't want in the first place), while the Hyper 411 Nano's fan runs 500 RPM faster. The mounting brackets work for both models. As for the heatsinks, the one on the Hyper 411 Nano is slightly shorter than the one on the Hyper 411R. I could have just bought a standalone 92mm Cooler Master fan, but my goal was to check the compatibility personally. Later on, I will test this hybrid cooler (Hyper 411 Nano's fan with the 411R's heatsink) with a Q9650 processor when I assemble a classic gaming PC.
