NZXT Kraken Z63 RGB White - Liquid Cooler with LCD Display

This is a self-contained CPU cooler. It has a liquid temperature sensor, and it gets CPU and GPU temperature information from the motherboard. It can power and control fan speed and RGB lighting fully independent of the motherboard. (You can still connect the fans and RGB to the motherboard if you wish.) I set the radiator fan curve against the liquid temperature. Because there's no way to get the temperature reading of its liquid to the motherboard, I connected the fans directly to this AIO cooler. This cooler can be programmed via NZXT CAM application, but the settings do not persist through a power cycle. (You need this application to customize the RGB display anyway.) There's a separate pump speed setting in the AIO cooler. I set the liquid pump curve against the CPU temperature. I think these settings are the most optimal since the liquid pump cools the CPU using water and the radiator fans cools the hot liquid. However, the included fans can get bit noisy at a high speed setting. I replaced the stock fans with Noctua's 14" fans, and now it's as quiet as it'll ever get! The only thing is I had to give up on RGB lighting, but I'd take a set of quiet, efficient fans over noisy ones. Overall, if you don't mind the NZXT CAM software running in the background, this pump is an awesome pick! You can't go wrong with this.

It’s a great cooler and works perfect. But, a couple of things to keep in mind before you buy. 1. If you are trying to fit this 280mm cooler in the NZXT H510 Elite like I did, know that it doesn’t really fit. You have to put the fans inside the bracket and the radiator on the outside with the pump hoses on the bottom. Even then it doesn’t really like up with the screw holes when screwing in. 2. The cooler does not come with the cable for the water pump plug that sits on top on the water pump next to the usb c plug. BUT, that cable should come with what ever power supply you have so just look through the extra cables you should already have included with your power supply. (NOTE: if you don’t have that cable the cooler won’t work properly and your CPU WILL run hot like at 100 degrees) Hope this review is useful as these were issues I ran into and was very hard to find any useful videos showing these issues and how to fix them or find out what’s wrong online.

Pictures added: 1st = faulty product 2nd = proper aio When I originally purchased this product, the rgb functions and pump screen didn't work and nzxt cam didn't recognize it. Still worked, under load my pc never went over 63 Celsius, even on cinebench (after 15 mins of benchmarking). I opened a ticket with nzxt, and they called me and stayed on the phone as I troubleshooted the whole ordeal. They recommended I return thru Amazon rather than them, because of Amazon's amazing return services and it would take a while for nzxt to replace it. So I did just that, and once it showed up ,15 minutes to install, and it works wonderfully. All in all, it's a fantastic cooler. The rgb functions are aesthetic, but they make me happy since I've gotten one that works right. If you're questioning buying this, do it. Wonderful aio, and even after 10 hours of gaming on high res, my cpu is under 60 degrees Celsius. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it.

New condition in manufacturers packaging unopened, box undamaged. It worked the first day. Did an ok job of keeping the I9 13900kf cool. Woke up next day and screen was strobing white while computer was in sleep mode. Must have been a dud. Threw it away and ordered the 2023 version Kraken 280 RGB which is working just fine.

Beautiful product with excellent easy to use Software. You're able to customize the direction of the screen interface so you can make this product fit even with thick RAM sticks. Great temps too. You can add GIFs to the screen too. Overall great and versatile product for any needs.
