★★★★★Perfect Match for AMD 9 9950X – Cool and Quiet - 420m
The cooler’s performance has been excellent. With AMD 9 9950X, completely stock (out of the box, no overclocking or voltage tuning), inside an ASUS ROG Hyperion GR701 case. During a 6-minute stress test, the CPU maintained boost frequencies around 5.2 GHz, with package temperatures staying around 68°C. Power consumption reached approximately 200W under full load. VRM temperatures remained well controlled, and the fans never reached their 2400 RPM maximum. Even under heavy stress, the noise level was extremely low. During 2K gaming, CPU temperatures stayed in the mid-60s, with boost frequencies ranging between 5.5–5.7 GHz. Power consumption while gaming fluctuated between 120W and 160W. Fan speeds remained around 1400 RPM, with very low and unobtrusive noise levels. Overall, excellent thermal efficiency and impressively quiet operation. Installation was very easy — the fans come pre-mounted on the heatsink, and the mounting process is straightforward, requiring no prior experience. Additionally, the radiator is 38mm thick, noticeably thicker than the typical 27mm radiators found in most standard AIO coolers, contributing to its strong cooling performance.

★★★★★Completely solved temperature issues but has a few downsides to consider.
I'm writing this as of 2 days of use after installation on an I9-14900k, one of the hottest-running and most troubled processors on the market. It is installed on the front panel of a Fractal North XL case, with fans in front in an intake configuration. This seems ideal to intake cold air instead of using the already hot air within the case to cool the radiator, and to avoid the convection heat from being at the top of the case. These conditions seem minimal but should increase thermal performance. The Bad: *Amazon lied about the shipping. Under the product listing, it claimed next day shipping, and then when it was in my cart it would only offer 2-day shipping. *Installation was a little weird as there was no rear bracket and I used the one I had from another aftermarket brace, which fit. Not a big deal for me, but some people may be confused or be missing a back bracket for LGA1700 chips. *Tightening the 2 screws on the pump header was a bit nerve-wracking since they had such heavy resistance and there's no physical instruction book. *The front panel of the Fractal North XL doesn't seem to click in fully with these big fans in the front, but I'll figure that out later. *The noise at full load is significant, but not really a problem for me since my headset has good ANC. *The "pseudo-fan with small fan inside" just magnetically clips onto the pump header. I'd feel better if it clipped on or screwed on. *The fan power cords that go through the water tubes are not long enough for the config I chose. I had to pinch the power cords a bit to get them in the front of the radiator. The Good: *That said, this cooler completely solved my temperature issues. I previously had an NXZT Kraken 360mm, and it was absolute garbage. One of the fan bearings went bad and made a ton of noise after just one year. The LED screen on the pump header never worked. It was either defective or just entirely inadequate for my processor, which is INSANE for how much I paid for that AIO (320$ at the time). I have been through hell trying to get this processor in a functional state between the BIOS updates and custom BIOS settings to limit voltage, and I was regularly pegging 100c on Battlefield 6 and other demanding games. I have it thermal throttled to 100c, but was is not ideal. *With the Liquid Freezer III Pro 420, I have not seen temps over 70c peak. Battlefield 6 causes that peak but runs at around 60-65c. Cities Skylines 2 is running at 55c currently. *The price point for this beast of a cooler cannot be beaten, especially if you don't need the LED version. All the bad points honestly negated by how relieved I am that I have my temps under control with this ridiculous processor plagued by issues. Whoever wrote the default intel settings and/or bios code must have lazily used AI and didn't troubleshoot or test it at all.

★★★★★Liquid cooling doesn't get much better than this
The good: -Keeps a 9800X3D system cool as can be (around 40c idle/45c typical load) with fan speeds as low as 50%, so there's plenty of thermal headroom. -Quiet as a mouse. I'm fairly certain my chassis fans are louder than this thing. -Unlike the last two CLC's I've built with, the fans are already pre-mounted (as exhaust) so there's a step saved. -With the sole exception of the mounting screws, assembly and installation was a breeze. -The non-RGB model, at least, is crazy good value for the overall performance. The not-so-good -The included MX-6 paste was extremely thick, almost to the point of being a bit lumpy, and preferred to stick to the tube's nozzle rather than the CPU IHS, making it's application much more difficult than I'm used to. Based on thermals, I was still able to get it done correctly and it's working as intended. -No printed manual is included, just some QR codes the bring up a YouTube video. While the video is certainly adequate, a small set of printed diagrams would be much easier to reference than trying to awkward seek to a specific point on a video with my phone. -The mounting screws on the pump block were a bit difficult to line up with the brackets, and it took me a few tries to finally get them both started.

★★★★This Cooler works well, it's a beast, and it fits in the NZXT H7 Flow 2024.
I waited to write this because I wanted to give this monster a useful review. After I installed it in my NZXT H7 Flow 2024 and fired it up there were a few issues I wanted to look at. The fans were incredibly loud. I'm no stranger to loud fans but these are mechanically loud, not the noise of air getting the crap beat out of it. I ran the fans up and down their rpm ranges, the only place I could run them with acceptable noise was 25-30%. Then I hooked up the fans one at a time hoping I had one bad one and couple of good ones. One was a little quieter but not by much, these "pro" fans are louder than my bathroom fan and I'm not joking. I took them out and replaced them with other high performance fans I have. These are supposed to be good fans, with a name like "ARCTIC P14 PRO fan" I expected better. You shouldn't have to shop for better fans after you install a new AIO with supposedly premium fans. At the price point this is a fantastic cooler, it cools my 14900k build like no other. I'd buy another in a heart beat. I will not be returning it! Just know you are going to be replacing the fans, even if you wear noise canceling headphones. You'll see in the pictures that it squeezed into my NZXT H7 Flow 2024 case, there wasn't much wiggle room. It's a preexisting build, so I had to move stuff out of the way to get it in the case. Pro's It's a beast, I can see it cooling any CPU you attach it to. The pump is powerful and quiet, very little noise at full speed. The VRM fan is a nice addition, the fan is quiet as a mouse at full rpm. Con's - The stock fans are horrible. C'mon Arctic you can do better. Besides people returning this cooler because they didn't thoroughly check the case size the fans are probably another reason. - It's beyond me why the cooler head is designed for the PWM control cable to go under the head before it's installed on the CPU. If you change your mind about which control cable (there's 2) you want to use, you'll have to pull the head off the CPU change the cable, re-paste the CPU and reinstall. I chose not to follow this step of the install "Connect the PWM control cable before mounting the cooler on the mainboard", I recommend you don't do it either. I'll notch the VRM head where the wire comes through at a later date. For now the cable is squeezed underneath.

★★★★★Quiet and Cool
My first AIO that i have used before, i bought this for my AMD 9950x3d as i heard they run hotter than most AMD chips. I did not need and RGB or LCD so it saves on money for the same performance. The 420mm is probably overkill but it fit the NZXT H9 Flow very well. The Asus X870E-E i used this on worked but i had to remove one of the big heat sinks for the M.2 it came with so the lower ports on the pump would clear. The MX6 paste it came with was terrible or maybe mine was all dried up, it was the consistency of clay and would not spread evenly once pressed on with the cooler. I used Corsair TM30 and it works great. Once you get it all installed which is easy, you can either use the all in one cable if you have limited CPU slots and no pump slot or they offer the segregated cabled to have individual control from pump to fans, i suggest using that one if you can. Fans are quiet as i tuned them with the BIOS software in the Qtuner to keep them quiet and cool, it works great, very low noise from the whole setup if properly tuned. I used this in this NZXT H9 Flow case and used all Be Quiet PWM fans so they can all be tuned. The whole goal is quiet and cool. AMD 9950x3d - 4070ti.
