★★★★★Fantastic CPU Cooler - Awesome bang for the buck!!

The Peerless Assassin 120 SE V3 is an absolutely amazing cooler! I can't imagine there is a better bang-for-the-buck cooler on the market. Under normal workloads it is virtually silent, and even running Prime95 it is relatively quiet. Fans run very smoothly, with a pure, quiet whisper-type sound when you can hear it. As for performance -- well, see the attached pic. Yes, this is not a high-power water cooler keeping temps below freezing ;-P. And I'm just running stock CPU speed, though with XMP-enabled 32GB DDR5 6000 memory. But seriously - running Prime95 blended on a Core Ultra 265K, all 20 cores, averaging below 80 deg C (ambient room temp 74 deg F), most cores maxed out at well under 90 deg C, on a nearly silent $37 (with tax) air cooler!?!  I doubt you'll find a better buy on the market. You won't be disappointed in this cooler, unless perhaps you're into CPU overclocking or doing nothing but running the worst CPU stress tests you can find. For 'real life', spend $37 for this cooler instead of more for a giant air cooler or $100+ for a water cooler and enjoy your cool, quiet gaming machine or workstation...

Great cooler. Great price. Great value. It's quiet while idle. Had no issues mounting and it was a pretty easy installation compared to my old Hyper 212 Evo. Works great! I was skeptical about the fan speed since all the other Peerless Assassin cooler fans spin at 1800rpm and these are the same fans, but they do indeed spin at 2000RPM.
