This little CPU cooler was perfect for my Mini-ITX TrueNAS home server build. I needed a small, low-profile cooler to fit in a tight case, and this was exactly what I needed. It's rated for 150W TDP and handles my 65 watt TDP 8600K processor with no problem. Even under load, my CPU temps are perfectly acceptable. Installation: Easy to install with clear instructions and all the necessary hardware included for both Intel and AMD platforms. The mounting system uses nuts on the backplate, so make sure they're tightened evenly to avoid any issues. Installation took just a few minutes following the included guide or the manufacturer's installation video. For some reason, white parts are marked up astronomically but not this one. It’s attractive, whisper quiet, and it works very well. I’m a complete beginner and I was able to install it because the instructions were so clear. The choices that were made to make it so universal were clear and easy to navigate. If you’re like me and are working toward an all white build, the center logo was just a sticker and it was very easy to remove and the cables were also a very bright white.

For a low profile fan it works great, looks great in the case. I used the included backplate on my motherboard not the one that came with the cooler. It's cooling a 9700x and at stock settings in a stress test it kept the CPU temp around 70 degrees. My only complaint is the little fan is definitely on the noisey side so I adjusted the fan curve and now when gaming it's barely audible and still keeps my CPU in the low to mid 80s, still comfortably below the 95 degree throttle temp.

Cooler is decent quality, the thermal paste included is enough to return the product. I have been building computers since the Pentium 2 was hot off the press. I have never seen thermal paste as useless and dangerous as the sort included with this cooler. I typically do not use included thermal paste on my builds unless I know the cooler is coming off shortly anyways. The paste that this came with has ZERO ability to spread nor to adhere to the chip face nor the heatsink. If a less experienced system builder tried to use this they will certainly kill thier machine over time due to misapplication.
