💡 How to pick a processor
What to look for:
  • Socket must match your motherboard (AM5 for new AMD, LGA1851 for new Intel)
  • Core count and clock speed for performance
  • TDP (wattage) affects cooling needs
💰 Budget builds: under $200. Mainstream gaming: $250-$400. Enthusiast: $500+

★★★★★Excellent.performance and great value for money!
The media could not be loaded. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/D1hdFxHMkiL.mp4 https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61YptK8FDSL._SY256.jpg am very impressed with the AMD Ryzen 5 8500G. The installation was straightforward and very easy, even for a beginner. It is highly compatible with my motherboard, and I had no issues setting it up. In terms of performance, it handles multitasking and office work smoothly. It's also a great choice for light gaming thanks to the integrated graphics. The noise level is very low, and the fan remains quiet even under load. Overall, it offers incredible value for money, especially considering its low power consumption and high performance. The product arrived in brand-new condition and exactly as described. Highly recommended!

★★★★★Solid for the price, not a GPU replacement
Decent little APU, not super strong, but able to handle some fairly cpu intense games. 7 days to die (with upscaling and frame generation) is pretty playable at high settings (1080P) Definitely some artifacts from the frame gen/upscaling, but playable. For the price it’s not bad, but it is not a stand in for a dedicated GPU. Unless you play at low settings. Good for budget builds, and if you add a dedicated GPU it seems to perform fairly well if paired with a solid ram set. bonus perk, good for troubleshooting GPU display issues.

★★★★★Good processor for those on somewhat of a budget
Pretty decent processor for being the lowest end in the Ryzen line. Desktop runs smooth and commands respond with minimal lag. Overclocked to 3.55 and it took up some slack nicely. I use 5 chassis fans in addition to the CPU cooler and temps are so low my fans never spin up.
