★★★★★A great CPU for Overclocking, Gaming, or Multiple Uses!
Used with a MSI Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI and 2x8GBs of RAM. With max temps barely at 80°C, the heat is managed quite well on air cooling with a decent heatsink, but running push/pull 120mm fans, I can comfortably push this chip up to 5.0GHz and it’s stable. With AMDs competition, I would NOT recommend this chip below ~$255, as there are simply better options available in most cases, but for $252, this cpu performs incredibly well, but much of that potential is in overclocking, so if you do not have or plan on purchasing a adept cooling solution, or have no interest in overclocking, there’s many other choices at much better value for your money.
