Bought it renewed, seller stated it was in "excellent condition" so imagine my surprise when it arrived without a CPU cooler. I chatted with the seller and they agreed to a partial refund due to the missing item. I then bought a stock Intel cooler for $10 from another seller on Amazon. This delayed the start-time for my computer build but since the CPU was such a good deal I'm not too upset about that. The CPU was packed very well: In a plastic case padded with soft supportive foam inside, to protect the CPU. The case then fastened closed like a clamshell. The clamshell was then taped closed with a sticker to ensure the protective case didn't pop open. And then, that clamshell case was wrapped in a cylinder of bubble wrap and placed in a perfectly sized cardboard box, so the item didn't move at all during shipment. When I unpacked the CPU I noted it was indeed in very good condition and had no signs of wear, thermal paste or any scratches anywhere. CPU was in pristine condition and did look brand new. The CPU installed fine in my Intel 10th gen motherboard and was recognized as the correct CPU. Very pleased with the purchase, hence the 5-star rating. Thanks.
