★★★★★Bought it used for 170
CPU is one thing where people shouldn't typically be afraid to buy used, especially if there's a guarantee or warranty, just get it and stress test it. So for $70 less I pretty much got the same thing without the box. The 13500 is a quality performer bargain, I wouldn't recommend this version for gaming, or any current gen intel realistically but the 13500 is an absolute beast for a small home server, in fact it may be too much. They run extremely cold, have a lot of cores to use, and don't draw much power relatively. If you're gonna get something for gaming this year, stick with a Ryzen X3D chip. If you need intel integrated graphics or know what you're in for the 13500 is perfect at what it does. Especially on sale.

★★★★★Easy to build a computer with this one.
I just assembled a new computer using this processor on a Gigabyte B760 with DDR5 memory. The system came up without a hitch and the BIOS screen appeared very professional. I installed Ubuntu 22.04, the only thing I noticed was a hang when installing 22.04.1, so I had to initially select safe mode. I recommend using 22.04.3 (current) because it probably fixes that issue. With 20 cores total this processor is just a downgraded i5-13600k, I don't overclock anyways so it fits my needs. RAM and the sleep function work perfectly (I had trouble with the competitor's)

★★★★★Works perfectly and great gaming performance, but stock cooler is useless.
This chip performs perfectly and is a great value for the performance, but plan on getting an aftermarket cooler. Anything CPU intensive ran the CPU at 95C. Bought a $50 heat sink and the CPU has never gone above 50C even while gaming.
