Does what I need it to, works when I want it.
My only gripe is the VPN connection, specifically the lack of ability to use SurfSharks sign in from another device feature - you have to use a password to sign in for the router. But overall that’s minor.
They should update the firmware to allow a TailScale VPN option.

This is the best product I have bought, I recommend this product to anyone who wants to have, private, secure internet WiFi connection at home or on travel. It comes with as 35 VPN providers. I have a Surfshark account and keeps my WiFi network secure and private from snooping. I have attached photo of the BE3600 Wi-Fi 7 travel router.
Folks it’s plug play device, but you still have to read and follow the directions on the manual it comes with. So far I have connected three devices and the WiFi speeds are outstanding. No buffing WiFi signal. You have to install the app on Apple or android devices to make the connection between your smartphone and the router. It comes with its own device password but once you’re connected, you can change it to a much stronger better password. Be keep in mind to have that device password handy just in case something you done is corrected. But it will work for you. Once you have a secure connection, you can add a VPN service provider of your own. If not you have to get one. To make it work for you and your device, while you’re in the internet. I give it a five star since it works for me.
For travel it’s a must, since you already have the app on your smartphone phone , you can take it on your travels and have a secure, private and safe internet connection at all hotel that offer free WiFi once you are connected to the hotel WiFi or cable connection. No worries surfing, watching tv, games for the kids devices. You are protected from hacker, scammers who want to harm you. Plus you can see who is connected to your secure private network. I bought the original mini travel routers and they worked but setting them up safely was a nightmare. This one is a full size router shrunk to this size. It requires a lot of power to keep it running and it has a nice range. The he features requires an update and setting up a vpn a bit more involved. Setup requires you have a built in ethernet port and if not setup offline. The wifi 7 is nice but wifi 6e is the most important part. Based on the information and playing around with one made me choose the most powerful one. If successful I can finally have a wireless bridge and a wired connection for unsafe devices again. The features of being a wireless storage center and transfer device is better than expected. My only concern is the cell function with the dual antenna I can use more devices at once. My isp router is being accessed by an intruder again and changing the password made it worse. So saw this and got it just be careful and never configure over wifi. I’m looking forward to the new wireless connection features and get a computer running properly. Don’t expect it to be the best thing ever. I tried the small model and if this is the same you might have a good chance of success with it. I was correct it is more advanced than the other 2 models so much so it just seems to be extremely exploitable during setup. No wifi or phone just the setup device via ethernet then connect update and then use the app. Not perfect but wifi 6e only mode is available and that’s all that matters. Good product for medium skilled users.
