★★★★★Great affordable mid range card, especially for Linux.
I’ve always preferred Team Red over Green, especially as a Linux guy. This thing is impressive. Handles most games well, decently cool and quiet even when playing stuff like Red Dead Redemption 2.

Decent graphics card for the price and have had any driver or mechanical issues this far.

★★★★★Great card for a midrange 1440p gaming PC
This is a great graphics card for a midrange 1440p gaming PC. In games like Deep Rock Galactic, Risk of Rain 2, and Counter Strike 2 I can hit 1440p, 165 Hz, and high graphics settings. In more demanding AAA games such as Armored Core 6 or Doom the Dark Ages I can run 1440p, 60 to 90 Hz, and high graphics settings.

★★★★★The temps are insanely good
I bought this as an upgrade to my old 2060 Super, and yeah, the performance difference is obviously noticeable. Switching from Nvidia to AMD was a breeze—just use the DDU software, install the AMD drivers, and you're all set. The biggest difference I noticed was the temperatures. My 2060 Super was always sitting at around 80°C at full load, but after switching to this 7700 XT, my temps never go over 60°C, and it’s super silent as well. If you’re looking for a mid-range GPU and reading this, well, you’ve found it!

★★★★Excellent Card, Bad initial pricing.
Let me explain the title of my review first. I am completely happy with the quality of this model. I am happy with the performance. The issue have (I knew going into it) is that I wanted a card about equal to my RX 6800 in my main system. Both cards trade blows depending on the title. I just think this card needed to be priced lower to begin with. Especially since the 6800 lingered around for longer than people thought. With that being said. This card is very good. If you want a card that will get you 1440p 60-120 FPS in some more demanding titles (depending on your platform of course) and very high FPS in E-sports titles on medium or low settings, this will do that. I find that my 6800 still holds a lead in 4k gaming. This mainly due to VRAM. In a lot of scenarios my 6800 can get 60 fps native at 4k medium-ish settings. On this 7700XT I need to lower the settings or use some upscaling. On the upside. With the arrival pf Marvel Rivals, I have really enjoyed the game and want casually stream. This has AV1 encoding. That is something my 6800 doesn't have. I also like that I was able to buy a card thay wasn't as long as the Great Wall. For a two fan card it is still beefy, but it does not need a massive case in order for it to fit. This card also has pretty decent power efficiency. I would give this a 4.5 if I could but I cannot. I would say as of 12/22/2024, wait on Intel to restock the b580 and then overclock it (it gets close this this for a lot less) or wait for AMD RDNA 4. Dont expect anything thing from Nvidia unless you're in the high end. I would also watch for sales on this. If the new gen releases and AMD wants this stock gone, i could see this getting the RX 6700XT treatment. If this goes back to $350. Buy it. If it stays, get the b580 or new amd models.
