The Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE is an impressive graphics card, although the delivery process left much to be desired. Amazon shipped the card in a plastic bag with no safety packaging, which is concerning given the card’s high value. Thankfully, the manufacturer's box had excellent packaging to keep the card safe. Upon unboxing, I was struck by the card’s size—it's a chonky piece of technology. The design is beautiful, showcasing the high level of manufacturing and technology that went into it. Installing the card was relatively simple, with the inclusion of a support brace. While the brace made the installation slightly more complex than just plugging the card in, it’s an essential addition for this hefty GPU. Sapphire deserves praise for including the support brace. Performance-wise, the card is fantastic. It runs Hunt: Showdown on Ultra settings at 144 FPS at 1080p, and Starfield at Ultra settings without issues, except for the typical Bethesda bugs. I encountered no compatibility issues, though fitting this card into anything smaller than a full tower case might be challenging. The cooling system performs well, keeping the card cool without throttling during intense gaming sessions. Additionally, the card operates quietly, which is a nice bonus. Aesthetically, the Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE is a stunning piece of hardware that looks as good as it performs. For those running an enthusiast system, this card is worth the investment. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about getting top-tier performance. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. Sapphire continues to impress with their great products, and this graphics card is no exception.

UPDATE 1/13/2025: I started having heating issues (90C) with more resource intensive games (Horizon Forbidden West and AC Valhalla) - turns out I was getting 300+ fps with 99% GPU resource usage. Yup, you must tame the beast and cap the fps to match your monitor refresh rate (60 or 144, etc.). Temperatures will return to normal, then. I am also trying the "Radeon Chill" setting, but not sure if that is necessary in addition to the fps cap. Have fun! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Nobody takes my precioussss of Sapphire! My beautiful, glowy beast that gives me 4k, 144 fps on Horizon Zero Dawn (ultra settings) and 157 fps Hogwarts Legacy (ultra settings) - with a 2019 ROG Maximus XI (Wi-Fi) motherboard and 2019 Intel i9-9900 CPU. No 50 Watt card, this is notttt. This beautiful, chonky Lola Bunny with the included support bracket, is rated up to 295 Watts (max). No overheating. (I do have 6 fans for the interior and 3 fans for the AIO CPU water cooler on top.) Trust James, the other reviewer, he is righttttt. He is with ussssss. Nvidia left us in the dust for AI…she/he no good for youuuuu. Choose preciousssssss. And, for the love of the spire, keep the GPU software updated! This new card will only get better as time goes on.

This is the best AIB 7900 GRE and the most popular. extremely well designed with literally an overkill cooler. it has the highest tdp and Sapphire used PTM pads instead of paste keeping the temps nice and cool. temps are in the 60s during gaming with hotspot in the high 70s to low 80s while being quiet. the only thing I don't like is the support bracket, it feels cheap and an afterthought. they say to use original screws but none of the original case screws are long enough once you screw it through the thick bracket. get a vertical support stand instead like in my picture, works much better!

I purchased this card to make my experience in a new game better. The software interfered with the game and would shut my PC down as soon as it started to actually load the game. As soon as I got the new Nvidia GPU everything was fine. If your looking for easy install and easy compatability buy an Nvidia GPU. This is too much software enhancements. The the GPU do the work!
