★★★★★Amazing sound and comfort for long gaming sessions
I’m really impressed with these headphones. The sound quality is clear, immersive, and perfect for gaming, especially when it comes to hearing footsteps and small details. The wireless connection is stable and easy to set up on different devices. They are also very comfortable, even after hours of use, thanks to the soft ear cushions and adjustable fit. The battery life is excellent and lasts a long time without needing to recharge. Overall, a great investment if you’re looking for high-quality wireless gaming headphones. Highly recommended!

★★★★★Astro A50 Gen 5. Not A50 X
My husband has been using these and absolutely loves them. The sound quality is really good, and they’re an upgrade from his old Astro A50. They’re comfortable enough to wear for hours without bothering his head. The wireless connection is solid overall, though he did mention his old headset had a better range — he could walk to the fridge without disconnecting. The mic quality is clear and his friends can hear him well. Setup was easy, and switching between his Xbox and PC is convenient. He has the PLAYSYNC Audio version (not the PLAYSYNC Video & Audio), and it still works great for his setup. Overall, they’re a great headset and definitely worth it if you game a lot and use two or more systems.

★★★★★Comfortable, versatile, and great wireless performance
I absolutely love the Logitech A50 Astros. The headset is very comfortable, even during long gaming sessions, and the adjustable fit ensures it works well for different head sizes. The wireless capability is a game-changer, transitioning between PC and other gaming consoles is seamless, and I never experience lag or dropouts. Plus I can easily grab a cup of water in between sessions or while the lobby is loading without fear of ripping cords out of my setup. The ability to be wireless and still have the quality audio cannot be overstated. The included charging stand is incredibly convenient, keeping the headset ready to go at all times and reducing clutter on my desk. Sound quality is excellent, with clear highs and satisfying bass, making both games and chat crystal clear. Getting this on Prime Day added even more value, but I’d happily pay full price for the combination of comfort, versatility, and wireless convenience. 💡 Tip: Keep the headset on the charging stand when not in use to ensure it’s always ready and avoid unexpected battery drain. (It doesn't overcharge and charging will shut off automatically when the headset is charged) Verdict: Comfortable, reliable, and versatile!! This is an excellent headset for serious gaming across multiple platforms.

★★★★★Beautiful headset that brings me right back to the good old days.
I played for the last 8 hours today on this headset and I am blown away. This is the BEST headset I have ever used. I used the old A40’s for over 10 years. They were a beast of a headset and put me ahead of the competition for years. The only problem was that it was wired. The cord would frey over time and eventually screwed up the mixamp after too many rage induced drops. I decided to get the audio sync only as I have little to no desire to pull up the video at the same time as the audio every time. I tend to play the devices one at a time with no need to switch my HDMI along with it. If needed I can switch it by hand. The headset charged very quickly and was easy to understand out of the box. Watching a YouTube video on the set up might help if you have any questions. The a50s are extremely comfortable and somehow light while retaining their solid feel. The mic quality is unbelievable, you could stream with how good it is. Seriously! Even though they don’t have noise canceling, I cannot head an outside sound while they are on my head. Bluetooth is great and the controls on the side of the headset are a little strange but it only took me a few hours to get used to them. (Such as to mute the microphone you just push it up). The sound quality is amazing for both music and games especially, you can hear footsteps from so far away. I love the Bluetooth feature as well, it’s just such a great headset. If you have the money I’d pull the trigger. If you really need to switch your monitor at the touch of a button get the PLAYSYNC + Audio version. But for me the audio version is perfect. The only problem I have is the Astro command center app for PC but that’s a different matter entirely.

★★★★★Deserves 0 stars IMO
This is my first set of “high end” gaming headsets, and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. The only things “high end” about it are the price tag, and my blood pressure. In fairness, when it works, the sound quality is impeccable. However, “when it works” is a huge caveat in this design. In my experience, the A50 has both technical issues with connection as well as physical issues with charging. The connection has a mind of its own sometimes, usually on start up. Once it connects, mine does not lose signa during a gaming session. But sometimes just getting it to register on startup is a whole song and dance that involves powering down the Xbox, unplugging the base and toggling through the connection modes, etc., sometimes having to go through this multiple times before it works. The app has also been problematic for me, largely because the buttons that control the sound balance are easy to bump when picking up/putting down the headset. There’s no way to see what you are adjusting outside of the app—which is fantastic when the app doesn’t recognize the headset maybe 50% of the time, leaving you stuck with whatever sound settings it decides it wants. The only way to fix it is to unplug the base, delete the app, forget the device from your phone, and start the whole install all over again. Perhaps the most infuriating part (oh yes, it gets worse!) is the charging bases, which is extremely finicky. If you don’t set the headset into the base at *just the right angle,* it won’t charge—but it will click into place, making you think it’s charging. This issue is compounded by the unclear nature of the charging lights—apparently the headset will connect to the base just enough to register two lights blinking, but not enough to start charging. Every time I put mine down, I have to sit there and wait for it to decide whether or not it’s going to charge. And once you’ve got it seating correctly, don’t worry—it will come out of place with the slightest bump of your desk or table. I seriously regret this purchase. When this headset dies (likely due to me flinging it into the wall one day), I’m going back to wired Astros—or another brand altogether.
