★★★★★Great headset, amazing audio quality, lots of features, extra battery, if you want to splurge on it.
This is a great gaming headset! I was on the fence about buying such an expensive headset, but it checked all the boxes and simplified my setup in the process. I mostly use consoles, primarily my PS5, and previously had to swap my headset between my PS5 and XBOX Series X based on which I wanted to use, but no longer with the Arctis Nova Elite. The audio quality is phenomenal, I can hear things in games I’ve never heard before and with great accuracy on where it is coming from, behind me, to either side, above, they did a great job with the spatialization to help give you that edge. Being able to set different EQ presets based on your preference or pick from the preconfigured once is great. I’ve mostly left the EQ alone and selected one of the presets, I’ve found them to all work well and so I haven’t needed to set a custom EQ. It is nice that you can do it from the App or from the software so I don’t need to have a PC connected all the time. The noise cancellation is great, in some cases almost too good because when someone is calling downstairs for me I can’t hear them. Fit wise there’s a good amount of adjustment and you can wear them for long aging sessions, I do find them to get a little tight after a few hours, but I do have a larger head. If you’ll be using it for longer sessions, the ear pads can get a little warm, I’m currently trying the WC Freeze Nova Pro Wireless - Cooling Gel Earpads and they help a lot without sacrificing audio quality or noise cancellation. Having the second battery that is charged in game hub all the time so you can swap them out easily is a great feature, you’re always ready to go, even if you forgot to plug your headset into charge. I like how the mic stores away back into the headset, it’s super flexible and stays in place, it’s sounds so much better than my old mic and there’s no echo at all. People tell me they can hear so much clearer than they used to be able too. Here’s the challenge, the price, they’re definitely the most expensive headset I’ve ever bought and I flip flopped a lot on getting them, but with being able to use multiple consoles, your PC and phone all at the same time and not need to move your headset around plus an extra battery, I figured I’d give it a shot. I did get a stand to hook them onto instead of laying the on my desk for credenza, I just always make sure to hook them by the outer solid strap and not the inner strap that you can adjust for fit. Note when you’re connecting it, you want to make sure you plug your XBOX into USB-3 so it’s fully compatible, not 100% sure why this is, but the directions say it and the port is labeled that way. You can plug your PC or PlayStation into either USB-1 or 2, the diagram showed the PC into 1, the PlayStation into 2 and XBOX into 3, so that’s how I have my connected. Overall if you’re in the fence and it’s in your budget I would say to go for it, I’m extremely happy with them and they’ve changed my gaming experience for the better.

★★★★★Great headset but a bit pricey for the average person
A bit expensive but worth the cost in my opinion. Has lasted me longer than the arctis nova pro and has updated noise cancellation which has lasted longer with less headaches for me than the pro. I find that it has better connectivity than the pro and can reach further without interruption. They also updated the chime noise on the nova elite to be less deafening and easily adjustable than it ever was on my pair of nova pros. Some cons to me are the mic retraction can get stuck and be harder to put the mic piece back in. Overall these are some of the best noise quality headphones ive had and using the sonar presets can allow you to hear shots and footsteps better in many different games.

★★★★★1 month of ownership
I don't normally write reviews but these are absolutely stunning and deserve to be looked at. So to start off, I have used many more premium headsets in the past, I've owned the arctis 7, arctis pro, then I moved on to the nova pro, which I have had since release. These take all the good from the older models and amp it up. The more premium materials, they have a nice weighty feel to them, but not at all uncomfortable. They have changed the earpands to kind of a soft leatherette type material with a really soft memory foam on the inside. The ear cups themselves are of nice size, I have rather large ears, and they seem to find perfectly even with glasses. The over all construction is a metal and a really nice plastic that has kind of a soft rubber feel to it. I do expect them to hold up very well over the course of time. Now let's get into the sound. Firstly I do not consider my self an audiophile. These sound amazing from gaming to music. These are a rather large upgrade over the Nova pro. The highs are nice and clear, not jaring. The mids are warm and pleasant, although sometimes they can be a little drowned out by the bass. Now the bass on these shines. They are what I would consider bass heavy, but not muddy. The bass is tight, crisp and punchy. The overall tuning out of the box should be a major step up for most people, and if it's not to your liking you can fine tune the eq and get exactly what you want. The active noice cancellation is the best you can get in a gaming headset. All though it does change the sound slightly you can adjust it back to your preference very easily using the Sonar software. The battery life on real world usage is around 25 ish hours. I've never fully killed the battery. I always swap it when it starts getting low so you're mileage may very slightly. The mic is also an upgrade over the previous generation as well, I use this headset exclusively on my PC for discord, the sound comes through crisp and clear on the boom mic. The headset also has another mic you can use if you don't want the boom mic extended, this mic is clear as well. One of the better features of this headset is being able to be used with multiple devices at once. No messing around it's all just plug and play through the game dac. You can be playing your games, then answer phone calls from Bluetooth on your phone all seamlessly. Long story short these are a premium headset with premium build and sound for a premium price. I would recommend them to anyone, even with the steep price.

★★★★★I recommend these, I just wish it cost less.
I really wanted to like these headphones. I was fully prepared to spend the high retail price of these delivered on what I wanted. They failed me in a few areas. First off, the sound quality was not bad but not great. It sounded but muddy, the sub bass is incredible though but the mids and highs sounded muffled. The microphone is very good. I called my wife from an airplane and I had these on me. I extended the boom mic and she said she could hear me perfectly and she could not even hear the airplane engines going. The fit was not comfortable. I have a larger head and even extended fully the ear pads felt like they were pulling my ears up. I thought this was weird as i tried the Arctis 7 at Bestbuy and the headband extends way more, so steelseries made a decision to make the headband not extend as far. Horrible decision. Comfort was a 5/10. The noise cancelling was not bad. About a 6.5/10. It should cancel out light noise like your PC fans. They could not cancel out the plane sounds I mentioned earlier and my AirPod pros noise cancelled twice as good. The Bluetooth and 2.4 simultaneous connection worked very well. Overall I’d say the Razer Blackshark V3 pros offer better sound, as good a mic, and a much more comfortable fit for less than half the price. I ended up returning these. Update: 3/3: I ended up buying these again and honestly I’m very happy with them. The sound is incredible. After A and B’ing then with the Razer BlackSharks, to correct what I said before, I have to say these sound way better. I’m knocking 1 star due to the comfort, but I solved this buy buying WC freeze pads and the WC large silicon headband. These made it infinitely more comfortable.

★★★★★Amazing sound and clarity, for the price it better be
Arriving a day early, it was a nice surprise. The packaging is first rate, worth keeping just for the storage factor when not using the headset. There is a storage pouch, nice for carrying the headset in a backpack, unless you want to have them around your neck. The construction is top notch and well designed. The redesigned receiver is a very nice touch. Using the downloaded app for consoles made it very simplistic to choose a setting for specific games. Ghost of Yotei wasn’t in the list but Tsushima was listed. The sound reproduction was a knockout. The voices had clarity and lots of depth, just the right touch of bass and fullness. Background sounds came through with clarity. It brought a whole new experience to listening. Voices from a hunting party in the distance replicated reality. Where were the voices coming from? A woman crying. Which direction? Battle sounds, weapons clashing. Very realistic. The ear cushions are very soft, cushions that prevent sound from leaking. The headband is adjustable in order for the entire unit to fit without being restricting on the head. I can understand how the ears may feel hot in a hot environment, but I live in a state with great weather almost year round so air conditioning is a must. I have yet to dial in the EQ as the presets presented a great experience. With 101 choices, I may never need to tweak the sound. Unfortunately the unit is pricey, posing a decision for some consumers on purchasing. Overall, I am happy with the headset. It will be the last gaming headset I purchase.
