💡 How to pick a keyboard
What to look for:
  • Switch type (linear for gaming, tactile for typing)
  • Layout (full-size, TKL, 60%, 75%)
  • Wired or wireless with battery life
💰 Try switches in person if possible. Hot-swappable boards let you change later

★★★★★Great keyboard
Love this keyboard so so much I've wanted one for so long and finally found a pink and wireless one I can't believe my luck. I've always wanted to swap the keys out for pastel rainbow now I have the keyboard of my dreams.

★★★★★Wireless Gaming TKL keyboard that feels premium and can create macros
Pros: -Keyboard feels and looks Premium with alluminum chasis. -Can be used Wired, Wireless with dongle and bluetooth. -Can be paired to multiple devices -No noted lag while typing using the wireless dongle after keyboard wakes up. -Cherry MX Brown feel switches with less noise than original -Variety of colors (ordered pink) -Can customize the rgb lighting of every key using the Cherry Utility App. Keyboard also has rgb presets that can be selected by pressing Fn + F12 key -Can create Macros, and remapp keys using the Cherry Utility with only one profile saved on the keyboard itself, so it can be used with presets even on another computer without the Cherry Utility -Ocupy less space (no keypad) -Cheaper than other gaming Keyboards if you find it on sale Cons: -No Keypad if you need one -Takes 1 to 2 seconds to wake up after pressing a key.

★★★★★Best keyboard ever!
Absolutely amazing!!!! I needed a new keyboard because the key caps I ordered didn’t fit my old keyboard, and honestly I’m so incredibly happy I had to get a new keyboard because this one is amazing!! It is such good quality with the whole base being metal, the sound is amazing and is so satisfying and the caps feel so nice and are easy to change. It connects super smoothly and I love the RGB colors! I would highly recommend this keyboard!

★★★★Non-standard font and reversed regular/shift layout on keycaps
The media could not be loaded. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/J15nyyR3qML.mp4 https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61joQtHT9uL._SY256.jpg This is a solidly built keyboard with individually controlled RGB LEDs under each mechanical key. The key action and feel is great, although if you are not a fan of mechanical keyboards you will find them too clicky and loud. The LED's can be quite bright (or can be turned down). To get full use out of the programmable lights (and keymaps) you will need to use the Cherry XTFY software on windows to customize the layout/colors/patterns, but even without use of the software the keyboard is fully usable and ships from the factory with many fully usable default lighting patterns. Some of them are as subtle as a simple backlight, while others flash and roll back and forth, either continuously, or in response to keyboard presses. Just using the function keys you can turn the lights on/off, pick different modes, adjust the speed or brightness. You can also pick how the keyboard connects to (multiple) devices. It can pair with up to 3 devices via Bluetooth, another device via the included USB-A 2.4ghz wireless adapter, and another device via the USB cable. So you can conceptually have up to 5 devices connected at once, and switch between them using keyboard commands. I tested the USB cable, USB-A wireless adapter, and Bluetooth with my Linux laptop (Ubuntu 24.04) and they all worked perfectly without needing any extra software or drivers (although I could not modify the default lighting patterns or keyboard layout). My only real complaint about this product is that it uses an "edgy" " gaming" font to label the keycaps, which trades style for legibility. This won't matter much to you if you are touch typist, and the keyboard has the standard QWERTY laytout, but it annoyed me. Perhaps more importantly, the "default" action of the key is labeled on the top, while the shifted action of each key is labeled on the bottom. [Bass Ackwards compared to every other set of keycaps I've ever seen] So for example, on the + = key, the equal sign is on the top, and the plus sign is on the bottom. The key still functions as you would expect, but years of using every other keyboard in the world makes me want to press the shift key to get the top icon. But since they are Cherry key-switches, if you don't like it, you can always buy a set of keycaps you like more. [If you got some translucent or transparent ones, the RGB LED's would be even more visible.] And of course, there is the price, which is a premium price for a premium keyboard. It doesn't strike me as outrageous for a full mechanical keyboard + RGB Gaming lights, but it is certainly more expensive than any "generic" keyboard on the market, so you have to really want the feel of mechanical key-switches and the RGB lights to justify it.
