The TH99 PRO from Epomaker is a keyboard with a lot to offer for the price you pay, including unique features and solid fundamental components. I recommend it most strongly to productivity users, however, gamers and keyboard enthusiasts alike will still find that the TH99 PRO to be a compelling option. With a coupon, the TH99 PRO is available for $76.50 before tax at the time of writing this review. Opening the box, the TH99 PRO comes with a combination keycap and switch puller, a USB-C cable, spare switches, and some literature. The manual included is a “quick start guide,” however, a full manual in multiple languages is available online. This is also where the software for the keyboard is available to access and download. I highly recommend anyone picking up this keyboard to visit Epomaker’s website to access all of the materials available. For keycaps, what you see already on the board is what you get. If you bought the black and grey colorway like I did, there are no black keycaps to replace the alternately colored arrow keys, enter keys, and escape key. I like the way these keycaps look, but if you don’t, keep that in mind before ordering. The doubleshot PBT keycaps feature walls 1/16” (~1.6mm) thick and bottom out with a satisfying, bassy thock. This is especially true for the stabilized keys, such as space and backspace. Speaking of stabilizers, the included plate-mounted stabilizers are fantastic. Anyone who has had to disassemble their keyboard to clip and lubricate their stabilizers can breathe a sigh of relief with the TH99 PRO, as the stabs are already lubricated and feature no rattling or clicking. The spacebar feels and sounds consistent, no matter where your thumb lands to strike the key. None of the stabs feel sluggish due to over-lubrication. In terms of switches, I went with Creamy Jades, and I’m very satisfied with their performance. These prelubed switches are smooth, responsive, and consistent. I found the 45gf trigger force to be a sweet spot in terms of smoothness and sensitivity. Especially lightweight linear switches can be too sensitive and trigger when you’re resting your fingertips on the keycaps, but the Creamy Jades do not suffer from this issue. And at the end of the day, if you find switches you like better or want to try something entirely different, the hotswap PCB is compatible with both 3 and 5 pin switches. The overall construction of the keyboard is rock solid. There are no rattling or loose parts. When typing, there is no hollowness or reverb from empty space inside the case. This is because there’s no empty space between any of the components whatsoever. The TH99 PRO features a multilayered sound dampening system, including poron foam, switch/socket pads, and a gasket mount. The software for the TH99 PRO opens in your web browser, so you don’t need to install an .exe file to make and save changes to the keyboard. Make sure your browser can access HID devices on your machine. Not only can you reassign individual keys, but you can also change the function layer. If you want to change the FN key combo to switch between Bluetooth devices, for example, you can do so. Macro creation is available here as well. You can also customize the GIF that plays on the keyboard’s screen with the software. I recommend GIFs with perfect loops and large objects. I used a program in safe mode to confirm that the TH99 PRO really does poll at 1000hz in USB and 2.4GHz mode. See screenshot in my attached pictures. In summary, the TH99 PRO is a versatile keyboard that gives users of all kinds a superior typing experience out of the box, and includes features that allow for further customization and personalization in the future. For the price, it’s a compelling offering by Epomaker.

Absolutely love this keyboard. I wasn't sure I'd like the blue keys because I've never been a fan of blue, but I love purple. I wanted this because I've heard good things about the brand Epomaker so I gave it a shot. The blue is actually beautiful. I got a purple mouse, wrist rest, & mouse pad & it made the purple keys pop more. The keys feel nice under your fingers when typing & omg the sound.. it's creamy but a little clacky at the same time. It is loud so keep that in mind. But I prefer loud keyboards, the sound is soothing to me like ASMR lol. The software it comes with is easy to use, I just plugged my keyboard in & went to the website it gives you a qr code for & connected. So many different options & colors for the lights. The lights stand out beautifully, even in bright fluorescent office lights..you just can't see them good in my picture. Right now I have mine on the flower petal mode with rainbow colors. You can even upload gifs to put on the little screen it has on the top left, or you can have it just display the time & battery life. I have a gif of a cat typing lol. Comes with everything you need. USB cord, Bluetooth connection, extra switches, & the key/switch remover so you can swap them out for more customization. Overall this is the best keyboard I've ever had. Quality is great so I think it'll last a long time. In comparison to other brands & considering all of the features, it's a really good deal for the money. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased the EPOMAKER TH99 PRO and I am very satisfied. The 96% layout is perfect because it saves desk space while still having the numpad, which is a huge plus for me. The RGB lighting looks great on my desk. One smart feature I really like is the power management: if the keyboard isn't connected via dongle or Bluetooth, the RGB lights stay on for just a few seconds and then turn off automatically. This is a very smart way to prevent the battery from draining for no reason. The Sea Salt Silent switches sound great and are very comfortable to use. They aren't annoying or distracting at all, which is exactly what I like. The 10,000mAh battery is very powerful and lasts much longer than any other wireless keyboard I have used. The screen and knob are easy to use and customize with the driver. Also, the 2.4GHz connection is stable with no lag. I’ve been using the EPOMAKER TH99 PRO for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The typing experience feels amazing, super smooth, soft, and satisfyingly “thocky” without being loud or harsh. It’s comfortable enough for long work sessions and still great for gaming. The screen and knob are surprisingly useful. I love being able to quickly check battery, time, and adjust volume without leaving what I’m doing. Battery life is also excellent, I rarely think about charging it, even with RGB on. The 96% layout is the perfect balance between compact and functional. You still get a numpad, but it doesn’t feel bulky on the desk. The PBT keycaps feel premium and don’t get that greasy shine over time. Overall, it feels premium and fun to use. Zero regrets buying this, easily one of my favorite desk upgrades.

Creamy jade switches are amazing. An awesome typing experience with perfectly tuned sound and feel. The injection molding quality on the PBT caps is spot on, very high quality and precise. Case is ABS plastic with no visible screws. Plate is HDPE on top of a 7 layer damping material sandwich that works perfectly. Clearly a lot of thought has gone in to this! Lighting is also highly configurable with the online utility. Separate zones can be changed for the board, and back light strip. It's extremely easy to upload .gif images with no software download necessary. Wireless works flawlessly too with incredible battery life. In general these boards are such an incredible value compared to established PC gaming brands it's wild. If you're looking for an efficient full size board, you cannot go wrong with this. Seriously, the online configuration tool works instantly and is incredibly easy to use. Genuinely great.
