Keychron Q1 Pro

It is easily the nicest keyboard I've ever owned (I've bought plenty of iterations from Razer, Logitech, etc.). I went with red switches and I love the feel. The lights are just beautiful; I am an RGB person but they are pretty understated with the solid keycaps and it's a nice effect. They keys have a lovely, creamy finish and it's just so satisfying to type on! I bought a couple of fun keycaps to switch out but I like the og keys so much that I'm going to wait a while. The keyboard is HEAVY! I am not using the wireless functionality so I cannot speak to that, but there is a firmware update for the double key presses some other people have complained about. I was a bit on the fence about buying this because of those reviews, but I'm glad I went with this one. I haven't had any issues.

I love this keyboard, if you're a gamer and you're tired of software interfering with your keyboard get this, I used a razor for a long time but the movements with glitch, when I swapped to this made reaction time and movement on par.

Coming from Keychron, who is known for making some killer boards, you already assume this will be a well built option and it very much is. It's a heavy, thick boy with some great sounding key presses. I went with the Gateron Reds and they have a great low, linear sound. The board layer on layer of foams, pads, and gaskets, making is a "solid" sounding device. No hollow plastic sound. Sounds of quality. The RGB is smooth and has the usual setting options. All of the connection options worked perfectly for me when testing them. Zero noticeable lag in the wireless options, although I tend to leave my boards wired just out of habit. The only downside I'd say is it is a bit pricey. There are some on the market for cheaper that seem like they'd be roughly the same. Either way, it's another Keychron you'd more than likely be happy with.

Extremely disappointed in receiving damaged orders. I received a key board with a missing ball footrest, so the keyboard would wobble when placed on a flat surface. The replacement for that order arrived in worse condition. The caps lock key had a sharp ridge sticking out. The USB end was warped and could risk damaging other equipment when plugged into. All of the plastic packages were sliced open in multiple areas like Wolverine claws. The box itself was warped and damaged in several areas. I would really like to try this keyboard, but I'm upset at how difficult it is to receive a product in new condition. Please be careful and think twice about ordering as there is terrible quality control, and no guarantee that you are paying for a new product.

Keychron is my absolute favorite favorite keeb I've ever used. Smooth depresses on the key. VERY heavy aluminum which is my personal favorite. You can use for Mac or Windows (literally don't know why you'd use it for Mac If your gaming tho. The "thock" is one in a million. Quality is perfect. Best value and best keyboard I've ever had in my life. This is my 2nd Keychron and I plan to have many many more!!
