💡 How to pick a keyboard
What to look for:
  • Switch type (linear for gaming, tactile for typing)
  • Layout (full-size, TKL, 60%, 75%)
  • Wired or wireless with battery life
💰 Try switches in person if possible. Hot-swappable boards let you change later

★★★★★It comes in a HARD ZIPPERED CASE!
It comes in a HARD ZIPPERED CASE! When you open the box you're just kind of like "does it NEED to be this fancy?" It's actually an amazing experience for a keyboard. Really makes it feel deluxe. The keys are just effortless to press. It's really unlike anything I've ever experienced. Volume roller is smooth (I prefer a clicky volume wheel) but it still feels really good. It's heavy! Pulling the box out of the amazon box, it feels like a whole graphics card. Build quality is amazing. I got this on sale which is an incredible value and would absolutely recommend it. I will not be able to judge battery life as I will leave it plugged in. I thought it would take AAs or something but it's a rechargeable battery inside.

★★★★★Best Keyboard I bought!
This keyboard is amazing! The only problem I have with it is resting my fingers on it can activate a key on accident because of how sensitive it is, but you start to get used to it and I barely have any accidental key presses on it. It's decently heavy; this keyboard won't be sliding anywhere. The battery life can last me almost a week, and it appears to have an auto-sleep feature. It's very high quality, and you can hear it in the clicks and taps on the keyboard. I love that it's portable with a 2.4g dongle or Bluetooth, so it's not restricted to just living on my desk; it even comes in a case to carry the keyboard.

★★★★★Linear Red Switches - phenomenal!
Two days in, essentially, and I am loving the feel / performance of the keyboard right out of the box. The lightspeed connectivity, from my subjective experience, feels like there is no delay in my inputs, so there’s that! It’s my first time using a wireless keyboard and I’m impressed to say the least; battery life with the static light setting is 50+ hours which is fine by me. What I’m enjoying most is just the feel of the linear red switches Logitech uses on this board; highly recommend these over using clicks or tactile; not sure what the actuation pressure is but it’s not so light that it feels too quick and there is a nice little, even tiny, bit of force needed to press down on the switch. My only major drawback so far is that it’s not a hot swappable board; this makes me nervous for a couple reasons: one, the cost of the keeb being what it is means if a switch goes bad you’re kind of up a creek. I’m playing the dice, so to speak, with this keyboard and hope it continues to perform well while I wait on the Wooting 80HE to arrive this summer. I’m a recent convert to being a fan of the 75 to 85% size of keyboards and don’t see myself going back to 65 or lower; having the dedicated media keys, F-Row, and the other extraneous keys above your dedicated arrows just feels nice “in case” you ever need them for something. All in all, Logitech has a new fan with me and as long as they can iterate upon this Pro X TKL board with features that folks are yesrning for / expecting such as: hot swappable keys, sound dampening tape jobs, Hall effect switches (not required but as an option would be nice), etc, then I can see this line of their keyboards continuing to soar. I’ll revisit this review down the line.

★★★★★Best Logitech Keyboard Ever
Bought the Gen 2 and love it. As a person who makes custom keyboards this is the closest you will get to a custom one from Logitech and it's actually very solid. Overall great product and I would buy again.

★★★★Don't recommend the keyboard or the company
Mid keyboard, terrible software, some truly awful design choices. No way to see if caps lock is on or not unless you lean all the way over your keyboard to type, as the caps lock button is completely hidden from view during normal use. RGB lighting and configurable software fully exist and are pushed on the user, so you'd hope we could configure the caps button to change color based on state - one of the few imaginable uses for all this rgb and configuration software effort. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like this setting exists, and getting support from Logitech is an ABSOLUTE nightmare. AI chatbot hell, and when you finally reach someone they barely respond and know nothing about the product, and won't transfer you to someone better. Honestly really disappointing, logitech kills it in important aspects, but completely drop the ball with basic, fundamental requirements.
