The box it came in was just a little scuffed on the outside. I do not care at all about that. The keyboard itself has literally no sign of wear on it at all, and if functions perfectly. This was a great way to save ~$60. The keyboard's linear keys have just a little bit of a squishy feel (I got the linear version). Not quite on par with other linear mechanical keyboards I've used, but it could possible be because of the short travel distance. The latency is perfect... very very low. The keyboard is slim, and very sturdy. There's no flex. The RGB stuff was easy to turn off, which is what I do any time I get an RGB item. So I can't really review all the colors and stuff- but I'm happy that it was easy to turn off! The volume scroller works great, very sturdy and smooth. Overall, it takes up little space on my desk, with no wire, and basically no latency. Really improves the aesthetic, and maintains a great typing experience. I recommend this keyboard, new or renewed... the renewed version works great.

I bought the keyboard because I wanted something wireless. In certain games I play the keyboard is set into game mode make it black out the rest of the keys. I normally use my Xbox controller but I wish it was all keys lit up. Keyboard came in and looked almost brand new. It was a good purchase. Only gripe is it shows a bunch of fingerprints on it.

I offer my keyboarding experience as a reference point, and not at all as a criticism. I learned typewriting in high school, which would have been about 1975, just when electric typewriters began to outnumber mechanical typewriters in business and, increasingly, home office settings. I learned to type on a mechanical machine, then graduated to an electric portable, which served me through college. Also a pianist, I had very good finger agility and was able to impress all sorts of people with my typing speed. Fast forward, if you will, to the 21st century, where key location, keystroke tactility, and ergonomics seem to have been mostly tossed out the window in favor of cheap, short-lived, low-quality goods, especially in the field of electronics. After many keyboard experiences, all of which have sought the perfect balance between the certainty of the mechanical experience and the sensitivity of the high-end keyboards, I cannot say that I've found the perfect mate to my fingertips. I can say that this keyboard has, over a course of two years, proven to be solid. I type a great deal, as an amateur writer and poor correspondent, and this keyboard has not flagged or quavered. I enjoy the backlighting for typing at night while my lover sleeps, and the backlighting effects are fun. It is quiet enough, confirming enough at the bottom of the keystroke, and quick enough (at least for my fingers, now aging and stiff at 64 yoa, lol). So I am no longer the fastest typist I know: this keyboard helps me feel plenty competitive. I recommend.
