I’ve been using this boom mic stand in my setup, and I’m really impressed with the overall quality. It feels sturdy right out of the box and holds position well without sagging or drifting over time. Once it’s clamped in place, everything stays secure. The arm moves smoothly when adjusting, but locks in when you need it to, which is important during recording or streaming. It’s been a great addition to my setup and does exactly what you want a boom arm to do — stay out of the way when not in use and hold firm when you need it.

Due to my desk and monitor layout, I needed a boom arm that was longer than some of the others I could find on the market. This one was more than enough, allowing me to be able to position the microphone exactly where I needed it so that it picks up my voice as intended instead of having to lean forward in my chair all of the time to speak. The stand was very easy to set up and the tracks perfectly hide the microphone cable. It fits very well onto my desk and is sturdy in place.

Stand works well and is pretty sturdy but I was a little disappointed that it can not be mouned upside down. I intended to hang it from a shelf over my head so it was no on my actual desk but the pivots do not allow such a configuration. The pins simply twist out of their sockets when hung upside down. That issue is not relly on them and it works fine in its current configuration so I am not going to reduce my rating because of that.

Attached to my HyperX QuadCast microphone with only the included adapters (from both the stand and mic). Easy to adjust and holds well - I've just been using a single section (out of the 3 total) for a shorter stand.
