Portable Mic-Tripod-Stand, Metal Desktop Microphone Stand Compatible with HyperX Solocast,Quadcast-2-S,Duocast,Flipcast Microphones

I have most of my microphones on boom arms these days, but I have found that the one little desk stand that I have has been increasingly useful, but it has a heavy base and is constantly in the way when I don't need it. I like this one a lot, actually, because it folds up very compactly and is very light, so I can keep it just about anywhere, without having to make a special place for it. One thing I really like is that you can raise or lower the base, not just for height, but to allow it to fit in different places or around things that you might have sitting on your desk or table. It's surprisingly useful. The adjustment for that is surprisingly secure for something this size. It feels good and reliable. The top part does not telescope, so the height adjustment is limited, but that makes sense, seeing as it would be a tip risk if it were much higher, not to mention heavier and more complicated. I love that is a simple, lightweight, foldable stand that just does what it does. It comes with a holder for a dynamic mic. It won't fit a wireless, not mine anyway. It accepts a shock mount, for a condenser, and it does have an adapter, if you need it. I have a feeling I'm going to be using this a lot. I can recommend this one!

It arrived in a ziplock bag and was covered in two layers of packing foam. It unfolded easily and the hinges are all firmly held together by rivets. The feet have little rubber anti-scratch ends, the Mic holster hing is also firmly attached and will hold a mic well. This stand itself has a 1/4-20 end on the main shaft. The flexing mic holster has 5/8"-27 threads on the bottom. There were 3 aluminum adapters provided: Two adapters screw into the bottom of the flex mic holster, one1/4"-20 female to 5/8"-27 male and one 3/8"-16 female to 5/8"-27 male. (This is so you can adapt the flex head itself to other mic stands.) There is also a stand alone aluminum adapter that is a 1/4"-20 female to 3/8"-16 male. (This is so you can adapt the mic tripod itself to different mic holsters, ball joint, portable lights or mini cameras) Notes: This stand is for tapered handle microphones, I own a RODE boom mic that is a cylinder with no taper and this mic stand head could not hold it. I was able to switch the head to my own shock mount and it worked just fine. I also collapsed the legs fully and was able to use this stand as a mini hand grip, so one could walk around with it and speak or do standing interviews with this if you needed to. All in all, for the price, this is a really great, solid little folding mic tripod, good value for the price. I would recommend. 10 out of 10.

I've had 3 so far and this one is the best. Easily adjustable, but holds the position well, no need to readjust over and over, no worries about it tipping over or sliding down randomly. I also have several different types of mics, different sizes and purposes, and unlike others, this fit them all. Easy to tote along if you do shows, it folds right up. If you use at home, it takes up little room and again you can just fold it up to store it. Pretty sturdy, much so than others I've used. Easy to set up, no need to mount. Looks sleek, not bulky, cheap or awkward. Fairly priced. Arrived fast and well packed. I would recommend, especially for noobs.

I've actually had some pretty interesting microphone holders for desktop. I've had the boom arm stand, the heavy bottomed one and now this. This is the lightest, simplest and easiest to put up or set up. This also comes with an adapter to set up smaller sized mics like for drum mics etc. The stand is light weight and held my SM58 just fine. It comes complete with a mic holder that's cool too. The stand is tripod stile and about a foot high I'd say. It has minimal adjustability but this is a desktop mic stand. I think it's great if you need hands free or whatever you plan on doing with it. Quality is good and materials are on par with the build. It's good and stable no wobble issues and I think it's a nice investment to my stand supply. I don't think anyone relies on just one mic stand but this is good to have.

It's perfect!! Super easy to use. Strong & sturdy with a forever type durability. It's lightweight yet strong & stable. Super easy to set up and take down for storage if you ever want to. The neck holder allows for adjustment which is great. Also, the legs have a nub on the end to prevent the stand from sliding around which I also love. It's perfect for my needs, and the price is very affordable. Absolutely 5 stars from me!!
