★★★★★Better than Shure
Great product and better than the SHURE brand which is way to tall for a desk top

★★★★★Perfect height for the desk
I purchased the original Shure mic stand but was way too tall. This one sets the perfect height for my SM7B microphone.

★★★★★Great-well made, medium duty short stand. Perfect for Desktop, Bass Drum, Guitar Cabinets.
Got the AA AUDIO ACCESSORY for studio use. I have a few short stands that are still a bit too tall. They've also been repurposed from my live band- meaning they are pretty scuffed up and battle worn. Was nice to see a clean, visually attractive stand. Little things that make a difference. :)
This fills the gap for something that can easily fit on a desk. Perfect height for podcasts, or in my case: Voice over use. I rotate a couple of different mics (SM7b, CAD, and a NeumannTLM). Worked great with all three. I found the height tall enough that I could still read copy.
The stand held all mics securely with no wobble. I do most of my reviews in my office, so took a pic with an old prop Nady Vintage style mic from my bookshelf to show the "vibe" factor. That Nady is actually fairly heavy, and the stand held it without any problems.
The stand comes extremely well packed. No scratches, The bottom has rubber pads. There were some scuff marks on the inside bottom of stand that wouldn't be noticeable, and barely worth mentioning. Include a useful cable clip.
Though intended for tabletop use, the 7 inch height is still suitable for micing up a Kick Drum or low guitar combo amp or cabinet.
Well made. The clutch operated strong and stayed in place. The logo was obvious, but not obnoxious.
Pricing is comparable to some of the usual choices from other manufacturers. There are of course cheaper alternatives, but this would be considered a more stout (and attractive) stand with a confident wider base.. If you're using a $500 plus microphone, you probably don't want to stick it on a $15.00 stand.
All in all, very nice stand for the money and a good value.

★★★★★Good stand for the money
Nice and robust stand. Taking one star off only because the pads on the base are not level so the stand wobbles a bit. Not a dealbreaker for me but this could have been avoided had they just used three pads instead of four.

★★★★★Finally, a Mic Stand That Doesn't Fold Under Pressure Like I Do
I finally decided to stop letting my desk look like a graveyard of mismatched equipment and grabbed this ultra low all-metal stand to bring some order to the chaos.
Setting this thing up was so fast that I actually spent more time opening the box than I did putting the actual pieces together. It is a heavy little beast that feels like it could survive a small earthquake or at least my clumsy habit of knocking things over while reaching for coffee.
I was a bit worried about whether it would play nice with my gear, but it works perfectly with both of my cheap generic microphones without any fussing or extra adapters (and this does include extra adapters also).
The five inch height is exactly what I needed to keep my setup looking clean and professional instead of having a giant tower blocking my monitor. It holds its position without sliding around because the weight capacity is surprisingly beefy for such a small footprint. I love that I can just set it down and trust it won't do a slow-motion faceplant in the middle of a recording.
The all-metal construction makes it feel much more expensive than it actually is, giving my budget mics a much-needed glow-up. I used this for a quick voiceover session and the stability meant I didn't have to deal with any of that annoying desk vibration noise.
It is refreshing to find a piece of gear that does one job really well without requiring a PhD in engineering to assemble. This stand is the definition of small but mighty, and it has officially earned a permanent spot on my workspace.
