★★★★★Works well, fits other mics too
Although this is marketed for the Elgato Wave:3, I used it on an AKG C214 condenser microphone, and it fits surprisingly well. What I like: Snug, secure fit on the C214 with no slipping once installed. Does a solid job reducing plosives (P’s, B’s, hard breaths) during vocal recording. Helps tame room and air movement noise, especially from HVAC airflow or subtle drafts. Foam density feels balanced—not overly thick, so it doesn’t completely choke the mic. Comes as a 2-pack, which is convenient for spares or multiple setups. Things to be aware of: Because it’s a foam cover, there is a very slight softening of high-end detail, which is expected. Durability is not as good as others options as it has done cutouts for the microphone so that it can show the power light and can work around the existing parts of the mic. Not a substitute for proper room treatment or mic technique. Branding and sizing are clearly aimed at the Wave:3, so compatibility with other mics isn’t officially stated. Overall Even though it’s not advertised for the AKG C214, it works well in my setup and provides noticeable improvement for plosives and general air noise control. For the price and performance, it’s a solid accessory—just don’t expect miracles beyond what a foam windscreen is meant to do.

★★★★★Not a great fit
I'll say this, it does what I intended it to: protect the top side of the mic from dust and moisture from usage. The shaped edges and hole to view the brand logo are not on point however - nor are both pieces of the same cut, color and quality foam - as they filter is not able to slide down far enough for those side cutouts to matter at all, and the logo is barely visible, not in entirety either. And, I will echo what just about everyone has emphasized: no cutout to allow access for the mute button at the top is a bit of a mystery.

★★★★★No hole for the mute button on top of the wave 3
It came 2 to a box witch is nice to have one to use and a backup, it has Nice thick foam, and it fits my Elgoto Wave 3 mostly. the side cutouts are not deep enough to go past the screw hole when on a Borenbuir wave shock mount witch was custom built for the wave 3 it might fit on the stand the wave 3 came with but i have mine on a wall mounted swing arm stand with the shock mount as i am not at a desk . also the wave 3 has a mic mute button on top but this filter covers it up and with it being really thick foam i had to cut a hole on top as i mute it alot when streaming or recording. I did do 3 test recordings as i was already recording a gameplay video on OBS so it was already set up just needed to put the filter on. I had to increase the gain on the mic some as this filter was muffling it a bit, also during the test is when i noticed i couldn't hit the mute button on top and had to take it off to make the hole so i can touch the mute button. i didnt hear any plosives or white noise on the 3 test recording i did and only time will tell if it sounds good on my yt videos. I am dropping a star cause it dont have the hole for the mute button and i had to cut one for it.

★★★★★Great Fit for Elgato Wave 3 — Noticeably Cleaner Audio for a Low Cost
I picked up this SOULWIT microphone pop filter to use with my Elgato Wave 3, and it’s been a solid upgrade to my audio setup. Quality: The foam is thicker and denser than I expected for the price. It doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap, and it holds its shape well after repeated use. It does a great job reducing plosives (P’s, B’s, and breath noise) without muffling my voice or affecting clarity. Fit: This fits the Elgato Wave 3 very well. It slides on snugly and stays in place during recording and streaming sessions. No slipping or constant readjusting, which is important when you’re mid-recording. Value: For the price, this is excellent value. It delivers the same basic performance as more expensive pop filters and windscreens, especially if you’re doing voiceovers, streaming, or Zoom calls. It’s an inexpensive way to noticeably improve audio quality. Overall: If you’re using an Elgato Wave 3 and want a simple, affordable way to clean up your audio, this pop filter is a great choice. Easy to install, effective, and well worth the cost. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to improve vocal clarity without spending a lot.
