I've had 2 24" monitors for a number of years and felt like it was time for an upscale. At the price, it seemed really doable. I was really pleased with the monitor! Very tiny rim around, so while it wasn't that much bigger than my previous ones, you actually had a lot more screen real estate, which as an artist I really appreciated. Also, the 144 htz vs 60htz of the old one, meant much clearer graphics and faster response when drawing on my tablet, it seemed to me. I use speakers and headphones, so I don't know about the sound quality. It set up fast, out of the box, though I did have to buy a converter to use my monitor tablet, due to my sound card only having one HDMI port and 3 display ports. So, when I bought my second one, I made sure to order that at the same time. They both fit on my dual arm extender that I used for my 24" monitors with no problems. Overall, very happy with them and would certainly recommend. Do take note of the size of the display (1920 x 1080), so if you are looking for something 4K, this isn't it.

The Acer Nitro 23.8” Gaming Monitor (KG241Y P6bip) arrived quickly and was very well packaged. I’ve been using it for the past few months as my primary desk monitor, and overall it’s been a solid display for the price. This is an extremely easy monitor to setup. Plug it in, connect the HDMI cable and it’s ready to go. The power and menu buttons are easy to locate and simple to use. Windows 11 recognized the monitor without issue when used on its own but I did run into an issue when attempting to use it as part of a dual monitor setup. Since the second monitor failed, I decided to stop spending time troubleshooting it but in future should I determine the cause I’ll update the review. The built in monitor stand offers some basic limited adjustment which isn't a problem with my setup. Overall, image quality is good especially considering the price. Pictures and images are clear but the color does appear to be a bit dull or muted. The IPS panel along with a 144Hz refresh rate and the FreeSync support still make this a very good basic monitor for everyday use. At the current price, this monitor is good value and is a great starting point if you’re building your workstation on a tight budget. I’m very satisfied with the Acer Nitro and except for a few minor drawbacks holding it back from a full 5 stars, I can safely recommend this monitor. 4.5 Stars
