This is a nice monitor at a great price. The ability to change settings via the on screen menu is NOT intuitive. The manual illustrates using directional arrows, like those on a keyboard. The only button on back is the on/off button. A brief call with their excellent customer service informed me that the on/off button functions like a joystick. That means after entering the OSD menu you need to make/change setting by pushing the button up/down or right/left.

I had this monitor in my Amazon wish list last year. When it was discounted on a Prime Day, I bought it. I'm pleased with this monitor, especially at the price point. I haven't had any problems with its function. Its resolution is better than the older monitors it replaced. I had been using a setup of two older 25" monitors. Now I use this this 31.5" monitor sitting next to my Macbook Pro's screen, and that's fine for my needs. I don't play sound through the monitor speakers, so I don't know how good they are as monitor speakers go. I use a Bose bluetooth speaker for better sound quality than I would expect from the speakers in a monitor or a laptop. My only negative comment about this monitor: its power cord is stupid short. It wouldn't reach from the monitor - sitting on the desktop of course - to the power strip on the floor below. I've never had a computer peripheral with such a short power cord. I bought a heavy duty extension cord to safely connect the monitor to the power strip.

I had this for 15 days, and everything was going ok, I know is the award winning monitor, great resolution, OK monitor, OK colors, but good price and value. Well, today I just turned on my computer... dead pixel vertical line in almost the middle of the screen, nothing touched the monitor, nothing hit the monitor, just happened. Is unacceptable, I'm returning it.

DP works great, but HDMI has a pink color on HDMI one and two, change the cable and it is still the same, put the DVD player on a 32-inch 1080p Viewsonic monitor, and it works fine. Using the same cable and player, hook it back up again to the ASUS, and still, Pink Video, but then again, the DP is fine. I checked all the YouTube videos on how to fix this error, but no luck. Bought on Jan 25, 2025. I have bought many ASUS items over the years and if you name it, I have bought it from ASUS, but the build quality is going downhill. I'm just a few days past the return date. UPDATE: The Blu-ray player I have will not work with this 4k ASUS monitor you will need this player Sony UBP-X700/M, 4k Blu-Ray Player for TV/Monitor with Ultra HD Vision you can buy it on Amazon. Tha Asus 32" UHD Monitor works great with our Apple computers. The picture is great and they are easy on the eyes. The screen size and picture quality is top notch. We have 2 and will be buying a third monitor!
