Okay, so I switched from a 4K OLED TV to this 1080p 27" IPS monitor to use on, and I was fully prepared to be disappointed. But holy crap, this thing is way better than I expected—especially the colors. Like, in a bright room, this IPS panel looks almost as vibrant and punchy as my OLED. I’m not even exaggerating. Blacks aren’t quite as deep, but the colors pop so well that I don’t even miss my OLED most of the time. And the motion clarity? Dude. 380Hz is no joke. Games feel stupidly smooth, and ASUS nailed the overdrive tuning—no crazy ghosting or overshoot. For an IPS panel, the motion handling is seriously impressive. If you play fast-paced shooters or esports titles, this monitor is an absolute cheat code. Now, yeah, 1080p at 27" isn’t as sharp as 4K, but if you’re used to console gaming or sit at a normal distance, it’s totally fine. The trade-off for buttery-smooth 380Hz is 100% worth it if you care about responsiveness. Final thoughts? If you want OLED-like colors (in a well-lit room) and insane motion clarity, this monitor is a beast. I thought I’d regret leaving OLED behind, but this thing is so good that I don’t even care. 9.5/10 (Only knocking it because 27" 1080p isn’t for everyone, but man, it’s close to perfect for gaming.)

Aunque es tecnología vieja, el monitor funciona sin problema en 1080p. Muy buen balance de colores y alta taza de refresco. Tengo otro monitor asus desde hace 10 años, (140 hz), y sigue funcionando a la perfección hasta la fecha. Recomiendo la marca y este modelo en particular. Saludos!

For the price, this monitor is amazing. However, I have a single dead pixel in the screen. I attempted a return/replacement and Amazon will not replace it with the exact same item. I know this is a small detail, maybe petty, but I purchased this monitor as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend and I don’t want to gift her a defective gift… And because I purchased this on Black Friday, the monitor is now $100 more. So if I refund it to my account, I have to spend $100 more to get a new one. This is absolutely horrible service. DO NOT buy this monitor. Actually, just don’t ever buy any expensive electronics from Amazon when it’s on sale. If it’s defective, you’ll get screwed.
