ASRock Z890 Taichi

Solid motherboard. Really fast for everything except can’t use ddr above 8700 mts like ocf version goes to 9433mts

I previously had an ASRock Z590 Extreme so I knew I'd like ASRock again. I picked up the Z890 Taichi Lite and a new Intel 265K. I had one issue right out of the box.. ONE pin on a motherboard ARGB connector was bent. I am not concerned because I'm not using it so no worries there. Also, I am not sure if Taichi Lite has protective plastic over the motherboard.. I saw an unboxing video on YouTube of the Taichi and it had like 10 pieces of plastic film to pull off. My Lite version did not have that. I was just curious if I had a return/used product or not. Anyway, the motherboard works great so far.. recognized my MSI Spatium M570 SSD, my Corsair Vengeance 2x48GB 6600 CL32. Working fine. One gripe I have with a motherboard considered their flagship line and of this high price. My MSI drive seemed to have died a day later. I had to get it out and couldn't get my adult fingers down there. I had to get the video card out. You cannot get your fingers or anything for that matter underneath to get the lock off. Another brand of motherboard has a long plastic piece to easily unlock the video card so you can remove. I would have expect a motherboard of this price to have that. I would have liked to see the cooling fan in the I/O ports. I believe the $349 X870E has this, but doesn't say it in the manual. PS - I love that the motherboard has power and reset buttons. I also love Dr. Debug. Little LED screen that shows you a code if there's any errors or anything.
