★★★★★A great motherboard that offers good stability and performance.
Just a heads up, you may need a BIOS update to use the new Core Ultra 5/7 250KP/270KP Series 2 Refresh CPUs that Intel released not that long ago as of the date of this review. You likely will not boot as it requires Microcode 0x114 or higher. I've been able to keep a stable overclock on my Crucial 32gb CUDIMM RAM, at around 7600 MT/S. No real issues so far and I have been able to keep my PC going almost all day with no BSODs or random program crashes. The Motherboard features a separate PCIe connector next to the motherboard power connector for added stability to the PCIE slots. Mitigating power spikes and improving stability. The Motherboard has that premium feel and appearance. It is surrounded by a aluminum casing and doesn't feel like its gonna snap on you the moment you attempt to install it, but inserting my RAM modules was a bit tougher than usual. This board is also cheaper than the Z790 hero... which I didn't expect, but is very welcome in this economy. ★★★★★Working perfectly
The board is absolutely excellent premium quality build and working seamless without issue however do not buy as the board won't give you feature upgrade to newer gen as it will only work core s series only with its lga1851

★★★★★Beautiful Board
Upgraded from B860 max gaming ax motherboard , install was scary because it my first time but booted right up and works just fine. Just go slow and steady, follow instructions you’ll do fine. Beautiful looking board , beefy VRM and heatsink everywhere. Solid heavy board ,now need to save up for a quality gpu. If your looking for the latest and greatest this is the board.

★★★★DOA ASUS Maximus hero motherboard
The CMOS battery was dead, never had that happen with all of the other boards that I have worked with. The board wouldn't turn on no matter what I did, pulling the RAM, no graphics card connected, even changed my PSU for another one. It had the rgb lights on the board, but no fans or rgb lights on the fans. Pulled the data cable to the 8 tb hard disk drive, still nothing. I've had an i7 and an i9 13900 cpu and didn't have any problems with installation of cpu or ssd drives on ASUS boards, including the dark hero. I just don't trust any manufacture that has done the i9 ultra or the DDR 5 Ram, turned money into a pile of crap is all that I got out of it. I also pulled the fan connectors and checked that I installed the cpu correctly - did see anomalies when I pulled the cpu to send it back for a refund, and I know that I did the installation right with jiggling or moving the cpu around a little to get the right position for cpu installation. Also didn't tighten the liquid cooling block onto the cpu, just a weird board.
