ASUS TUF Gaming B760M-Plus WiFi D4

I bought this B760M D4 motherboard in very-late December 2023 at ~$180. Since then, newer Intel CPUs have gone on sale, and this motherboard has gone up to about $250, which is quite high for a B-series board. I know it's due to the age, and not being the current-gen and maybe even out of production by Asus, but my feedback is still valid, especially if someone is looking to get this board, new or used. I built a new system around this board with a 12th gen i5 and a single 1TB NVMe drive and 16GB of memory. The board is very sturdily constructed, and the various VRM heatsinks add a sense of quality to it at first glance. Being a B-series board, I can't and don't overclock my CPU, so stability will be great for a long time to come. I selected this board specifically because it was 1) B760, 2)micro-ATX, and 3) equipped with a front-panel USB-C header for my new chassis. The rear I/O is also great for a micro-ATX board, as it comes with loads of USB, from 2.0 to 3.2 Gen 2, even including a USB-C port. Paired with the very stable Wi-Fi 6 chipset (and solid included antenna) and 2.5Gb Ethernet port, connectivity isn't likely to be an issue unless you need a dozen or more USB ports with no intermediary hubs or multiple USB-C ports. If you need a very well-built, well-optioned B-series motherboard and don't mind Asus or its Armoury Crate, then this is highly worth considering. At the price I paid, definitely worth it, but as time passes and still-new prices continue to rise, you need to weigh that for yourself.

Guessing the shipping slowness was from Amazon waiting on ASUS, but just glad it arrived with plenty of time to build for a young lady's Xmas. Ddr4 support for 4000mhz ram with XMP in BIOS and turning off rgb when the PC is off are just a couple of the simple things that make it nice. The kiddos love the lighting so having support for that on the board is good. Slapped a 12400f in and, easy to see from the pics, an anti-bend bracket. Runs nice and cool with an aftermarket cooler on it. 3tb for now through both nvme slots until his kiddo wants/needs more space as she's getting into digital creations. Handles the 3060 ti nicely as well. If I can remember, I'll get a pic of the completed build later to add to the review. I thought about going amd but we already had this CPU lying around so the black Friday deal on this was good enough to grab it. Good Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as well, definitely needs the strong Wi-Fi as she's the furthest from the router. Until I run ethernet wiring through the home.

Wanted to write this for anyone else. The motherboard is amazing and I've had zero issues. Only thing that I have had issues with is the wifi antenna. It was working perfectly for a year, now it disconnects randomly when playing multiplayer games. Checked my wifi, checked my IP address, checked everything involving this computer. I've ruled out that it has to be the wifi antenna because I'll be playing games with my roommate, and everything will be great for an hour or so, then MY Internet disconnects and his keeps working. He's wireless also. So I would recommend using the wifi antenna for the first 6 months or so, then start thinking about buying a new one. Fortunately getting a wifi antenna is pretty easy and they're very easy to install.

While it is an outstanding board, as I would expect from Asus, the lack of screws was a little shocking. I am just use to having a decent number of screws and lifts with each new motherboard. I did have an issue that appeared to be with NVidia Experience, since the error presented itself after install, but working with the Asus Tech Support we found the issue was actually with Windows 11 and an easy solution once the debugging was done.... Disabled power options - Fast Restart to prevent the system from auto-restart after shutdown. Moving to a new motherboard always has its fair number of issues and research to be done.

funciono muy bien pero sus conectores usb no son de buena calidad, se han quemado casi todos los puertos, no se cual es el problema de voltaje de estos conectores, pero de resto ha sido una buena experiencia
