So far it's a good board, my only real issue is with expansion - particularly that of SSD drives. While it's a simple matter to plug in the cables for a new HDD, the many covers and architecture of the board makes adding an SSD rather troublesome. IF I want to max SSD's, I'll have to remove the Video Card and the "cover plate" for M2_2, and there is also the trade off of SATA_1 if M2_3 is mounted. These are minor issues, unless you are trying to build the "ultimate" computer system - with 7 SATA's and 4 M.2 slots (minus one of either due to overlapping use) you have 10, total, storage devices - with HDDs currently at about 20TB (ea.) you can build a system with over 140TB HDD + 12TB M.2 totaling OVER 150TB of INTERNAL storage, plus nearly unlimited externally (on HDDs or USB (Thumb Drives)). While I tend to run my systems without sidewalls, I don't "care" about the lights and hard plastic "covers" that are prevalent on modern MBs, It does look good, if you care - although I've seen units with more "bells and whistles" (including "back connectors" - for power and wires to make for a "cleaner" install), I don't mind a few wires across the front. I WANT a unit that LOOKS like it is electronics, and I'd actually prefer it was a bit larger - with my older, "big", "clumsy", arthritic hands it was kinda tight getting the MB installed in my new case - which seems to have been designed more for looks than function (the cable routing actually complicated matters).
