He instalado esta MSI Z790 Gaming Plus WiFi junto con un i5-12400F y 32GB de RAM Patriot Viper, y el rendimiento técnico es impecable. La BIOS es intuitiva y la gestión térmica es excelente, manteniendo el sistema a 30°C en reposo. Sin embargo, hay detalles en la experiencia de desempaquetado que podrían mejorar considerando la gama del chipset Z790: Falta de tornillería: Me sorprendió que la placa no incluyera los tornillos de sujeción ni los separadores (standoffs) necesarios para fijarla al gabinete. Tuve que recurrir a repuestos propios para completar el montaje. Gestión de cables: La placa viene con amarres plásticos (zip-ties) convencionales. Para una placa de este nivel, MSI debería considerar incluir amarres con velcro, ya que facilitan mucho más el mantenimiento y la organización de cables sin riesgo de dañar los conductores al cortar. Conclusión: Es una placa base robusta, con gran conectividad WiFi y un diseño sólido. Si ya tienes tornillería de repuesto, es una compra totalmente recomendada, pero ten en cuenta que el kit de accesorios es bastante básico.

Cannot get the Realtek audio to work reliably, update board BIOS, all drivers, PC starts up with the windows startup sound from speakers but no audio in any apps thereafter. Tried disabling the NVidia audio in case of conflicts , had the audio once after uninstalling all audio drivers and restarting Windows; however after the PC went to seep and then used again no audio (neither rear or front jacks work). Sent online trouble ticket into MSI, no waiting for response. Update 11/24/25: MSI suggested performing a clean install of Windows, I did that and now the audio is working fine. Note: you need to go to the MSI site ahead of time and download all of the drivers for this board and extract them all so that Windows can find them sine the networking (i.e. no internet access) won't work until the drivers are installed

6 month update, still going strong! 1 1/2 year update. Still works great! No idea why this doesn't have any reviews, but it's a good board. Paired with a 13700k and crucial 32gb 6000mhz ram and it worked from the get go, no bios update needed. Though I updated it anyways. Windows install was mildly annoying because windows can't install ethernet or wifi drivers, so had to open a command prompt and force the internet activation to skip and I was able to install the drivers after that. Not overclocking because the 13700k runs hot enough. Also running a 3080ti and 4 ssds. 3080ti runs at 16x and all 4 SSDs run at 4x no problem. Very happy with this board!
