★★★★★ASUS TUF Gaming Z890-PRO WiFi Review – Premium Look, Premium Feel, and Great Performance
The ASUS TUF Gaming Z890-PRO WiFi is an excellent motherboard for anyone building around the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 platform. It has a really strong mix of performance, features, and overall build quality, while also standing out with a premium look and feel that makes the whole system seem more high-end. From the design to the layout, it feels like a well-thought-out board that gives you confidence during the build process. One of the first things that stands out is the appearance. The board has a clean, sharp, and modern design that looks much more premium than you might expect. It does not feel cheap or plain at all. The heatsinks, overall layout, and finish give it a polished look that works great in a nice build, especially if you care about both performance and presentation. Beyond looks, the board also delivers where it matters. It provides a solid platform for Intel Core Ultra Series 2 CPUs, with the features you want in a modern system such as WiFi, strong connectivity, good expansion options, and support for high-end components. It feels like a motherboard that can handle gaming, multitasking, productivity, and general high-performance use without issue. ASUS also did a good job making the board feel builder-friendly, which always makes the setup experience better. Overall, the ASUS TUF Gaming Z890-PRO WiFi is a very good motherboard that combines strong performance, useful modern features, and a premium look and feel. It looks great, feels well made, and provides a dependable base for an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 build. Definitely a solid choice if you want a board that performs well and also makes your PC feel more upscale.

★★★★★Performance on a Budget...
You're getting a fast Intel 890 chipset/LGA 1851 with 4ea m.2 NMe slots, with one m.2-1 as PCIe 5.0 x4 mode, the other 3 slots are PCIe 4.0 x4. If you enjoy high transfer speed you're gonna love the 2 x Thunderbolt™ 4 USB Type-C® ports on the rear I/O interface. What you're not getting: There is no Dr. Debug or onboard START or FLEX (reset) buttons like on ROG models. Also there is no Boot Beep header. NO driver/software disk or USB is included. No user manual is included, but only a Quick Start type booklet. Plan accordingly. While I did download the drivers in advance of my PC upgrade, the installation(s) failed and did not enable the onboard LAN or WiFi. I had to install an old wireless PCIe card that was recognized by the Windows installation and then navigate to the online ASUS Driver Hub to download and install the required drivers. After doing this workaround, everything was up and running in less than a half hour. BE ADVISED that updating the BIOS only worked properly when I navigated to the ZIP file containing the BIOS update file. Attempting to use an updated BIOS that wasn't part of the ZIP package failed to update the matching Intel Management Engine (ME). Do yourself a favor and use the BIOS in ZIP package format and BIOS update is a breeze. The BIOS ZIP package updated BOTH the BIOS and ME seamlessly. I have updated to BIOS v2401 and the overclock XMP memory option now works perfectly. Final thoughts... I am running a DUAL BOOT system with a Windows 11 and a second Windows 10 installation. I can confirm all Windows 11 is working well. Windows 10... still evaluating. If you're looking for great performance on a budget, this MB will definitely get the job done.

★★★★★Fantastic board despite the amatures in the reviews who dont know what they are doing.
This thing installed perfectly and despite as others have said did not require a bios flash to get it to post. It worked right out the gate on first boot. Did the wifi adapter function right off the bat? no. Which is pretty standard when you dont have drivers LOL. As a veteran of installing computer hardware I make it a point to specifically download any mobo network drivers before I even begin the process. As others have stated who have "10 years experience" Should know to do this. Or... have a backup wifi adapter if you cant be bothered to go get the wifi drivers. This board is great. along with the core ultra cpu took my computer from teh 80th percentile to the top 99 percentile. Working flawlessly. Victory loves preparation. If you go into any task unprepared you are bound to run into issues. Doesnt mena the product is "overpriced junk" as others have stated.

★★★★★Unable to secure NVME drives because of missing screws and horrible design.
1. I am unable to secure either M2 NVME drives to the motherboard, because there were no screws provided to do so, and the latches DO NOT WORK. 2. This company has been around for ages, and is still unable to provide clear instructions in their manuals. 3. Called their customer support number, and got hung up on after waiting on hold the first time. 4. While I was on hold, some voice kept coming on to advertise how great ASUS is and how many awards they have won. Really? Music would have been preferred, so I can actually hear when an agent comes on the phone. 5. You would think that the years of experience would help this company make boards that are easier to use, but it actually seems they are getting worse, and of lower quality. 6. Once I finally got through to someone on the phone, they had no clue how to secure the NVME drives to the board either. How does ASUS expect customers to get it working, when their own employees can't. What a joke. Do yourself a favor an avoid this unprofessional company with horrible customer support that barely speaks english.

★★★★★Z890 is great
Chose Intel to get mature drivers, so that there are zero issues. My system is quite with my Be Quiet Dark Base 701 case and Intel Core Ultra 5 245K 4.2 GHz 14-Core LGA 1851 Processor, and everything works perfectly, had nothing like so far you can say.
