★★★★★Incredible Value!
This motherboard is an incredibly great value for the price. I've been building PC's since the late 90's and I can't remember ever buying a board with this much IO for this little price. The 8 SATA ports is what initially sold me. I have a home server that I was upgrading with a bunch of HDD's, so I needed those extra SATA ports. You also get the 4 x NVMe slots, for a grand total of 12 hard drive ports. That's awesome for 130 bucks!! I couldn't find another consumer grade motherboard with that many at this price point. You also get a bunch of fan headers, RGB headers (I don't use RGB, but still nice), 2.5gb LAN, WiFi 6, USB Type-C, Built in RGB behind the main chipset heatsink (you can turn it off in the bios) - It goes on and on with this board. Insane feature set for a full ATX board at this price. I bought this board back in January 2025 and I've had mine running for a couple of months now with a i5-14400F/32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000 and it's been super rock solid. No issues at all. I've got 7 SATA ports being used and 2 of the NVMe slots being used as well and everything is smokin' fast! I have a new respect for ASRock. I've purchased a few of their MB's for different budget builds over the years, but I always thought of them as a cheaper (as in quality) brand, but I have since changed my mind and I would put them up there with ASUS. Great Motherboard! Highly recommended!

★★★★★ASRock wins
Was part of a gift for my son on his desktop build. Bios did not need updating, which was a win. Installing windows was a breeze. He loves the PCH heatsink LEDs, they even run while the computer is "shutdown". The MB provides everything he needed for his first build with room for expansion or upgrading. Very happy with ASRock. Upon start up it didn't need wifi drivers to connect to the internet wirelessly, which made it sooo much easier. Boot time is great, we did not opt to overclock as in many instances the computer will run a timing session to optimize and it leads to longer than normal boot times. We opted for "auto clocking" and it works great! No complaints, as this is our first ASRock MB.

★★★★Been using for over a decade, this year they crashed.
Diagnostics can be tough, and it takes resources. You would not expect to need do extensive diagnostics on new equipment though. After more than ten years of trouble-free computer building, this year ASRock hit bottom. I started with my usual fall computer builds. Almost every year I have successfully built about a half dozen computers in the fall. I have used ASRock motherboards since Intel stopped making motherboards more than ten years ago. This year, no video. I double checked equipment compatibility, and everything looked OK. I tried different video cards to no avail. I did complete diagnostics starting with bare essentials. Power supply, and memory, then working my way up. No trouble codes, just no video. After exchanging all component combinations including motherboards, I found a memory that solved the problem. The result. After weeks of work, I found the problem was with all ASRock motherboards. They would not work with memory listed as compatible on their website. Time to find a new motherboard supplier.
