★★★★★This thing is a BEAST!!! My Intel Ultra 9 285K runs 2370 pts Cinebench 2024 on pre set settings
This board is a true Beast it will take advantage of every component you place in it, CPU, Memory and PSU, and let you tweak overclock the heck out of it. There are some tweaks you need to do but you can literally set anything up manually or auto. So many settings it's hard to describe. Not for the faint of heart. I am running dual RTX 5070 Ti's x8/x8 with some AI workloads and Ultra 9 285K CPU and this thing SCREAMS! I been in the IT industry for a very long time .... some of you kids weren't even born yet while I was overclocking INTEL 486 DX2-66Mhz CPUs and Messing around with AMD so let me tell you this is one of the BEST Motherboards out there that I have ever seen and I have seen and build quite a few. One note the front panel Audio header is going to get static so use the back jacks for mic and audio if you plan on gaming or use BT for audio. There are settings to heat the cpu up if you use Liquid Nitrogen to cool the CPU, this thing is SICK! Get it even if you don't overclock it's super steady and its a Data Center grade mobo! for 4 bills you can't go wrong. If you don't know what you are doing with OC then go get an $80 MOBO and with auto settings and leave this thing alone. If you want to learn and play around and get best bang for your $ then look no further this is a true GEM. Couldn't be more happier. Don't believe what they tell you see my benchmark results vs AMD 9950X3D, there is plenty in OC room to go here. Also note that the Z890 chipset has 24 PCIE lanes to the CPU from and 24 PCIE lanes on the Chipset so you have total of 48 PCIE lanes! that amazing and an overkill, even when you use Dual GPU's x8/x8 5.0 lanes you have 4 PCIE 5.0 lanes left and 4 PCIE 4.0 lanes left to CPU for NVMe SSD storage at ultra fast speed. This motherboard is just Amazing! Get it while you can!

★★★★Rocky start but really good mem OC ( 10K+ ).
I had a rough start with ARL on my first OCF board, unsure what the problem was but I had experienced random post hangs on settings that should not cause issues. I even had multiple failed boots when loading uefi defaults or reverting settings and sometimes settings not getting stick. I decided to get another board from newegg as amazon did not have stock at that time and things seem much more stable, although I did swap to the 270k as well but both cpus behaved similarly on the APEX. Besides that, the mem OC capability on the board is really good! I am able to stabilize 10K+ MT/S with CUDIMMs, although I am still in the process of validating retrain stability and overall reliability. This was something the Z890 APEX could not come close to. It would BSOD at around 9866, although I did not spend as much time on it. In any case, the OCF seems much better for RAM OC on G2 and G4 than the apex. It also has better compatibility with both UDIMMS and CUDIMMS than the apex. Con - DLVR section of the bios is laggy - Power button breaks when changing fabric speeds(maybe even other settings too), requires power cycling. Recommend getting an AC remote control switch if you are planning to spend time tuning. - Adaptive/offset mode configuration is lacking in comparison to the APEX Pro - Excellent MEM OC - Good core OC too, same as the apex - Can revert ME using usb bios flashback
